Project Groups

Projection is attribution of subject's properties and states to external objects. It requires first of all understanding of the problem and setting of goals. Compilation of projects as the next step in this process means development of course of action.

In practical psychology there are so-called projective tests that are usually made up of pictures. Traits that are most projective are intuition and sensing as well as left-ness and right-ness. Intuition shows itself in the measure of unconventionality of the picture of the subject, while right process manifests itself in selection of important details.

Left + intuition = general results (emotivism)
Left + sensing = concrete results (constructivism)
Right + intuition = ideational processes (constructivism)
Right + sensing = concrete processes ...

A quadra is a group of four socionic types which have the same valued elements. Types in same quadra share similar or compatible strivings, unspoken values, and expectations for interaction. The socion contains four quadras: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta.

Attempts at accurate descriptions of quadras are notoriously difficult, as each quadra description must find some commonality among four types that collectively represent all four temperaments and two different clubs. Because the shared quadra values are abstract, quadra descriptions typically rely on presumed shared interests.

Introduction

Attempts have been made to describe the socionic types in terms of temperament. The most well-known temperament system places sixteen types into 4 groups that share the same two sides of Extroversion/Introversion and Rational/Irrational dichotomies:

Ij temperament: Balanced-stable - Introverted, Rational, Static
Ip temperament: Receptive-adaptive - Introverted, Irrational, Dynamic
Ej temperament: Linear-assertive - Extraverted, Rational, Dynamic
Ep temperament: Flexible-maneuvering - Extraverted, Irrational, Static
