Listening to him, and considering the fact that people like him are being used as political cannon fodder, I couldn't help thinking about that scene from Batman: The Dark Knight, where one of the Joker's expendable, schizophrenic henchmen says: "The boss said he would make the voices go away. He said he would go inside and replace them with bright lights. Like Christmas."
