Okay, so she's one of my all time favourite artists. She makes experimental music, with really expressive vocals. Lots of dramatic soliloquies, hellish shrieks. Her earlier-to-mid career works are influenced by the AIDS epidemic, she used the metaphor of God's punishment. She's a very outspoken artist, wonderful individual, has a really expressive attitude and strong opinions about things.

So, what do you guys think is her type? I think she could might as well be either LSI or EIE, she's definitely Beta. Her thorough approach to music and her research makes me think that she might have four dimensional Ne, so I'm more inclined to think she's EIE. But, there's a sharpness about her that feels LSI, and she's often very consistent in how she talks about her work.

I used to enjoy Plague Mass when I was little but I've never been a fan or an expert of her work. Based on her art alone, superficially I'd guess she is a victim type with a humanitarian focus which puts her in the Beta NF category. Her expressiveness, extremity, and the underlying consistency in her image and her attraction to or fixation on exploring the disturbing aspects of human nature suggest Ego Ni and Fe and Super-Id Se. I'm unsure about whether she's an extravert or an introvert, one one hand I could make a case for her being Fe+Se pushing with an admirable Ne, but on the other hand she doesn't seem like Ti seeking. Perhaps this contradiction could be reconciled by going for a middle ground with DCNH. How about IEI-C as the final type?

I'd say that she VIs as an EIE, just from looking at her expressions in her 1984 interview. She looks a lot like EIE Joan Baez.

Plus, there's that Fe social outrage that "some people have AIDS and why aren't we doing something about it?" Very EIE, not so much IEI.
