the only female ile's i know well are poets!! one has a very minimalist aesthetic--lots of Si--and the other creates these playful experimental structures (i.e. poems based on math formulas) that are very moving because you can sense that these structures are her way of getting at deeper emotional content that she can't otherwise express.

That's really interesting because I enjoy reading poetry (generally shorter bits because I feel they can be stronger than long, drawn out affairs with the exception of The Lovesong of J.Alfred Prufrock), but can't really write it at all. Or maybe I can and should give it a shot. Hmmm. But I have a moleskine full of random bits of magpie'd poems and quotes I've found all about.
