I agree with @Sol that XLI is probable from the photo provided however a video provides much more.
To assist me in forming this conclusion I placed your friends photo beside some useful VI pictures from another site.
I can post the comparisons here if you so wish.

...perhaps VI is slightly more SLI from the photograph supplied.

You provided a useful photo for VI purposes which in my view most closely fits with XLI types.
Perhaps SLI over ILI as I think a slightly closer match with SLI mostly comes through the eyes.
