    Default Howdy!

    Howdy y'all,

I am the one and only Regal Beagle no relation to Three's Company but if you caught the reference bonus points to you. I have a M.Div and my hobbies include acting, writing, dogs, reading, philosophy, history, and theology! I focus mostly on Enneagram stuff; I am a 6w7 but still uncertain of my stacking. Social is definitely second, I feel that I am SX first but others I've talked to could see it going SX or SP first.

I have been with my partner for nine years, I'm gay, I'm a furry, I'm a minister, and I have a dog! I've also been nude on stage which was just delightful.

Within that I type as IEE. I'm not really the best at text-based communication like this and much prefer voice/video chat or IRL stuff. Still, forums are nice and you can usually find some social opportunities on them.

Let me guess, you came from discord?
The Barnum or Forer effect is the tendency for people to judge that general, universally valid statements about personality are actually specific descriptions of their own personalities. A "universally valid" statement is one that is true of everyone—or, more likely, nearly everyone. It is not known why people tend to make such misjudgments, but the effect has been experimentally reproduced.

The psychologist Paul Meehl named this fallacy "the P.T. Barnum effect" because Barnum built his circus and dime museum on the principle of having something for everyone. It is also called "the Forer effect" after its discoverer, the psychologist Bertram R. Forer, who modestly dubbed it "the fallacy of personal validation".

Nope! I had an account on here for a bit but there was a post I wanted to see but my account wasn't activated. So, I made an intro post so my account could be activated so I could view the thread I wanted to view.
