Your imagined me is quite off from the actual me.
If you can't see my regular seeking of security, stimulation, safety, and comfort, as well as my internal contradictions, second guessings, and anxieties, then you obviously haven't paid much attention to me. Which is perfectly fine, I only expect decent (or better) typers to pay close enough attention to the people they are typing.
