Default Alpha is the laziest quadra

I thought if gamma was the crankiest quadra and the most intolerant of laziness and gamma is opposed to alpha, then alpha is the most lazy quadra

but who needs that logic, everybody knows already, just wanted to see what are your reactions, haha

If it wasn't for the ESFjs to do the hard working and getting things done alpha would be and is the laziest quadra, followed by the delta's.

My impression is that types seem lazy, they just love comfort. I meant lazy in that way.

Entp's aren't lazy we're just inconsistent in our application of effort, lol.

I read somewhere: "that inconstant intuitive fire." Heh works for me.

Intj's are pretty diligent, I'd have to say, also.

I don't think alpha is lazy overall, although isfp has that reputation - not knowing one personally, I can't say whether the reputation holds true!

I'm not THAT lazy. I just have motivation issues. I can do what needs to be done when it comes down to it, and I don't procrastinate too much, except for really stressful things.

I know about 5 ISFps and they are funny people, ah, but i like to picture them as a bunch of snails, because they move so sluggishly all over the place and don't get too excited so as not to make any energy expenses. So as you can see the embodiment of laziness itself no i'm just kiddin

And yes Blaze, inconsistent, that is just perfect to describe the alpha quadra. Maybe laziness is not the most explanatory word
We've agreed opposed quadras move in the same direction but they go about it in fundamentallly different ways
I do feel like alphas and gammas set themselves a clear defined goal in life, they've got the explicit drive to accomplish something, know exactly were they want to be. We both have the ambition, but i see how we alphas lack that persistence in whatever we do at some point that gamma has.
I think if we were to compare alpha is the laziest for that reason, for not actually arrive at an end with work. It seems ESFjs are the only one people whithin the quadra quite close to actually getting things done and finalizing some projects. ENTps are inconsistent because of that "inconstant intuitive fire", ISFps are sluggish, they just wait for others to drag them into projects, INTjs diligent you say, eh maybe, in some cases, but we need thousands of years to actually concretize a little part of a job, somebody has to inspire us that zeal for work

Since I've started mapping out my days well in advance (complete mapage), I've been a lot more productive. But it comes and goes in streaks.

Inherently, though, yeah...... I can be lazy.

That's why I've gotta bag an ESFj, heh heh heh.....

Laziness is the result of a lack of stimulation in a specific area in the brain.

Like Transigent said, anyone can be lazy. I think it might be and people find more frustration in not having something opposed to woriking for it.

Procrastination is nothing but self-dishonesty and laziness. Procrastination delays, limits, and stops your success, achievement, and happiness. Indeed, the buck stops with you. The lies stop with you. The denial stops with you. The procrastination stops with you. No one can do this for you. No one can do this but you. Bullshit. If you are doing nothing, that means that you prefer the act of doing nothing in order to satisfy your need in comparison to the act of doing something else. Since the only way to define what we need is to look at the way we act to satisfy the need, it's clear that when someone is procrastinating, he has a preference for doing nothing over doing something.

How ironically appropriate that this thread was bumped in time for the "how Alphas are perceived by other quadras" thread.

I don't know you in person, but neither do I know any ESFj that could be called lazy. ESFjs are not lazy. INTjs are not lazy. ENTps might be called lazy sometimes, but the laziest type in Alpha is clearly the ISFp. Lazyness is not a quadra thing, it is a temperament thing, and the laziest temperament is the IP. The least lazy temperament is the EJ.

I disagree. It really bothers me when people said that I didn't do well because I didn't try hard enough. I have known a lot of hardworking ISFps IRL. People tend to perceive us as lazy because we are rather modest about the effort we put in our work. We try to make work as fun as possible and others misinterpreted it as us been lazy.
