    Default Could Kim be ESFp?

ok, FINALLY I get to ask the infamous question: Could I be another type? The possibility was just run by me and I would like to hear what people have to say about this. I'm rather sure I'm ENFp, but hey, let's entertain the idea of me being another type. Why not?

    So, could I be ESFp?

Oh, and for those who like V.I.:

I don't think an ESFP would even be asking, would they?

I could see it. You're definitely aggressive enough. Additionally, you don't behave anything like my ENFp friends; then again, all of them are intuitive subtype (most likely).
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Gosh, good question... What's the difference between an ESFp and an ENFp? I've got to look that up, then I'll get back to you. So far all I can think of is, "errr... do you like reality?" and that sort of crap.

Nah, I don't doubt Kim to be an ENFp in the least. She's just blatantly ENFp, if you want. And secondly, I don't doubt people's type, if they declare they are some type or another.

Perhaps people are confusing "agressive" with "European"? (I presume we're more or less from the same country... let's not name names, it usually triggers xenophobic rants, so let's just call it the G-spot... you're from the North, right?) If I'm correct, then that might explain why you strike Americans as being fairly direct and assertive

Yes, that's where I'm from (HH, to be exact, which might just be one of the most non-ENFp places on the planet). I can REALLY relate to you as being an ENFp from the same culture - it's intriguing!!

I think that some Americans think I'm direct, but not aggressive. I do get aggressive when people push my buttons. My can be rather uncontrolled then. Other than that, I think I come across as fairly laid-back in real life. Unless I'm hyper.

Because is an ESFjs hidden agenda, an oddly enough I am under the impression that it would be more likely that an ESFj would mistake herself for an ENFp than would an ESFp for ENFp. (Or atleast other people would be more likely to confuse an ESFj with ENFp, like I did with my stepfather)

My stepfather is ESFj and I once mistaked him for an ENFp.

HH? Bingo. I know several people from the area (I'm from the South), and they're all of them blunt, matter-of-fact, sensible and eccentric. My mind's made up. You're an ENFp.

Fun question (but maybe helpful anyway): How do you cook and bake? Sensors seem to love exact measurements, and they like fiddling about until something tastes just right. Intuitive cuisine is a bit more... adventurous, shall we call it? Rummaging through the fridge while the pot is boiling: "Oh, I'll put that in... no, that's mouldy... hm... some ham! Good idea. In you go. And... eh, what on earth is that? ...ah well, let's bung it in anyway." End result: spaghetti with sweet-and-sour cheese sauce. (Don't try this at home. I did. It was awful.)

I really don't see that. ESFjs are so serious and traditional. Well, my mom is ESFj and can be silly...No, I really lack the taste to have strong .

And the description does not fit me at all.

Even while ESFjs often do not understand their reasoning for follow such stringent customs, they follow regardless. In fact, they tend to not ask very many questions concerning their lifestyle or challenge much are at all. Most are perfectly content living the way they have as long as they have and so long as nothing disturbs their way of life they remain content; so do those around them.
No, that is so not me. It actually depresses me a bit to read this.

    Ok, no, ESFj dismissed.

    Kim,

You are too fond of INTjs to be an ESFp.

Well you often behave very ESFp but you also clearly show intuition. So you are ENFp who likes to roleplay ESFp or you are intuitive ESFp who looks like ENFp.

All ENFps here seem to think you are like them. I vote for ESFp to balance the vote They are look-a-like types after all.

Addition: I checked your pic. I suck at VI but based on that I might go for ENFp instead. But I'm always wrong when I do VI

I think your ENFP, your probably confused because your Se likes to break through sometimes. I'm usually Ne, but when my Se breaks through I turn into a useless person. Plus, if you were ESFP, you wouldn't even be in this forum. My ESFP has excellent style and always tells me to dress better, but most annoyingly tells me to stop doing weird things.

kim...this is kind of random but still kind of on topic. so the first time i tested, i was an ENFp, and since then i have taken two other tests (out of boredom slash curiosity) and both times i turned up ESFp. but every time i read the description, i can identify more with the characteristics of an ENFp even though the tests tell me otherwise! so confusing. the end.

None taken. After all, most Americans haven't been to Europe at all.

    I'd suggest the following explanation:

What people are talking about are
    i. tourists,
ii. stereotypes (from books, movies, etc).

As for i.: What kind of tourist travels to America? Those who like weak beer, weak coffee, airconditioning, and plumbing. Pansies. Tough Europeans go hitch-hiking in Siberia.

    As for ii.:
Any American who is like a stereotypical European comes across a bit limp-wristed. Therefore you think that Europeans are limp-wristed. This is because whenever Americans are in Europe, they go to all the limp-wristed kind of places (the ones with plumbing, airconditioning and sights). They go to Paris. London. Heidelberg. Edinburgh. Who lives there? Pansies. What kind of natives do those tourists meet? The kind that walks through pedestrian precincts, sits in coffeeshops, or goes sight-seeing. Pansies. You shouldn't go to London or Paris or Edinburgh, you should go to Liverpool or Marseille or Glasgow.

    So there.

BTW: in case you speak German, there are many synonyms for (male) pansies, like Warmduscher (guy who takes warm showers), Sitzpinkler (guy who urinates sitting down) or Frauenversteher (guy who understands women). And there are many more versions of that.

    Heh pedro...

Kim you've got to be ENFp. Because they all say so. And that wild look in your eyes doesn't belong to an ESFp. Just doesn't. And you sound like an ENFp. Just do. Your ES might have been overly reactive like how some third functions do when you get older yeah. It makes you want to be an ESFp sometimes for reasons beyond my understanding. I'm getting confused. Darn it's late I'll be sleeping goodnight you all.

Then again there's a possibility that you're an INFp but it's not probable.
