MAKE ROOM IN THE SHOEBOX! Daw, so much love, lol.
EDIT: I looked through the thread and realized I forgot Mr. Darcy. Awwwwww, on the broodier scale, but still lovably introverted.
EDIT2: Ahahaha, I had to go and watch The Nightman Cometh again just to indulge.

Very busy with work. Only kind of around.
^It's Tom from Spooks.
What on earth is interesting about her?
I didn't insult her looks; I said she's boring, and that Jake is boring for liking her. Also, I find it fascinating that you imply that you have "class" in the same post in which you insult a woman's looks and berate a man for liking her...
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...
Speaking of NCIS...
I also had a strange fascination with Seth Green's character in Can't Hardly Wait pretty much all through my teenage years....
Hmm.....trying to think of others here....
I'm not sure. Basically any cheeky, loud misfit that is incredibly intelligent yet lacks some level of emotional connection, will argue, is a little proud but softens during one-on-one contact and reveals a deeper level of themselves in doing so.
I'm not sure if this is closer to displaying my dual or just showing my impeccably bad taste in men. :/
Hello, my name is Bee. Pleased to meet you .

I have trouble answering this question. There have been many fictional characters I have had crushes on, but I cannot remember one of them to actually be my "ideal mate"...
Many of them were rather crazy people, ha. Interesting and intriguing, but not exactly boyfriend material.
I spent way too much time thinking about this.
However I just learned that there just simply is no pleasing me.
I am too whimsical and irritable. Perfect doesn't exist for the moody.
Everything interests me but nothing holds me.
I cannot believe I am still thinking about this, and still have not reached to any conclusions.
I like the way she eats soup
well, forgot about Chow Mo-wan in "The Age of Blossoms."
A bit sentimental as a male figure (possibly too much for my taste) ...but the execution is flawless. I guess the actor matters here, too.
The female protagonist is also an indelible picture of femininity. wanna be a man for her.

I think you asked me about Gatsby , but meanwhile I forgot to reply .
I personally type him Gamma SF ...I know there are some EIE opinions around. Mby the phrasing "ideal" is not right for him (or for Dmitri Karamazov, Vronsky, Heathcliff ... ). I like them for a specific striking quality such as incredible ambition, vitality, passionate spirit ...even a combo of wild, committed, deep and evil/vengeful in the last one. Gatsby is more about achievement and an ability to follow an obsession and a vision for years for the sake of a woman.
Sherlock Holmes lol

Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?
I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Bryce Dallas Howard - as any role, pun intended
Zev - Lexx - both versions;
90's Bjork - for 72 hours (Clearly a fictional character)
Xena warrior princess - in blue lagoon setting
Laura Palmer, both then and 25 years later
Ah Mon from Devil Beside You
Ling from Mars
Sarah Kerrigan from Heart of the Swarm
Lisbeth Salander from the Millennium Series
....no doubt. If I ever met someone like them, I'd snatch em up and make them my soul-mate.

Howl, from Howl's moving castle (but he's not my type IRL)
My ideal mate is the male lead character in this tv show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fm6pg4rYrQw
I like everything about him, his mannerisms, the way he speaks, the way he portrays himself.
Of the books ive read i only ever had a crush on Andrei Bollkonski (spelling?) from War & Peace by Tolstoy. I was 15 when i read it so it made an impression and other characters afterwords haven't made as much an impression, in movies and books alike.
Oh, lord help me but Hisoka is my ideal man~

I call myself batyote and I fight crime at night.
I kind of like characters with a bit of a chip on their shoulder... but who are good, caring and romantic underneath it all. One comes to mind who was kind of broody, cranky, but passionate and also good at taking care of things...
