Dune Movie 2020

Dune novels are the epitome of introverted intuition.

Denis Vellinueve, french Canadian director of Arrival, Sicario and Blade Runner 2049 will be leading the helm, so you know this movie won’t be udder crud, like most everything Hollywood creates these days (ie: CGI fuvk fest comic book movies, Game of Thrones season 4 onwards).

Its supposed to be true to the books, so hopefully a thought provoking adaptation with the major themes such as consciousness, history, politics, religion, spirituality, time, memory, and the shifting sands of Arrakis and how collective ecological and human forces shape destiny. edit: and of course, mind altering drug use.

If anything in the Dune movie seems familiar, thats because it is. Most scifi is derivative of the Dune Novels, first written in the 1960s.
