You can achieve about 95% of the effect by using a regular zip-lock bag. With the food inside, seal the bag almost all the way across the top but leave about 8-10 mm open, then shift the sealed edges sideways or press on the edge of the bag to form a “straw” into the bag. Suck the air out using your lungs and then finish sealing the bag. It may be necessary to slip the bag faces sideways to form an air passage down to the air pockets around the food inside.
