Fidias has an interesting brain. He has very curious blind-spots. Like he does not fear dying and he seems to have that sort of fantasy life geared towards others too. He could say stuff like "It is fun to kill". He is not a psychopath but still pretty oddly configured individual.

The decisive thing is not the reality of the object, but the reality of the subjective factor, i.e. the primordial images, which in their totality represent a psychic mirror-world. It is a mirror, however, with the peculiar capacity of representing the present contents of consciousness not in their known and customary form but in a certain sense sub specie aeternitatis, somewhat as a million-year old consciousness might see them.

That's an interesting suggestion. I can see him as ESE. Fe base makes sense, maybe harmonizing subtype. Usually with SEIs I can pick up the Si-Ne but not with him. Then I was thinking about that he is a songwriter and I don't really associate that with SEI, and that he has lots of tattoos, not really a SEI thing, at least in my experience. Just a hint maybe, but still.

Europeans sometimes have a hard time understanding North Americans.

Tattoos are a VERY common feature here nowadays, among all types, and especially Alpha SFs.

You are living in past decades.

the 'pain' of getting one means nothing anymore. the aesthetic styles are very broad and often represent artistic, personal, sensibilities. There is a tattoo style and artist for everyone.

this concept that its Se-Ni is from the 1990's. or from people who live in ultra conservative countries.

America, Canada, Mexico, Latin America, South America, tattoos are everywhere. I live in the West Coast, Tattoos are mainstream. Sorry you guys can't see past your borders.

The discussed was "lots of tattoos" situation. Tatoos harm the natural beauty look, what is against Si.
If you see many cases of "lots of tattoos" at "Alpha SFs" - the explanation would fit to mistakes in types, which are often. Gamma S and beta F are close to mistake.

    > I live in the West Coast, Tattoos are mainstream.

50% of Se valued people are many ones

    > this concept that its Se-Ni is from the 1990's

The "concept" fits to theory and no trusted stats to think other.

Lots of Si types have tattoos that feels it amplifies their natural beauty, such as a butterfly tattoo on the thigh, ect.

I fail to see how a few tattoos removes from any natural beauty, unless to say you are showing everyone your own internal concept of what is and is not beautiful, or what is or is not natural?

I think more than anything your conservatism is on display, more than any real discussion on the nature and use of tattoos.

Now if a person has neck tattoos, or tattoos that are featuring aggressive, intimidating images, or tattoos covering every square inch of their body, then I'd say it COULD be a function of a Se valuation.

I emphasize the word could, because it is not nessesarily so, unless you look at, closely, the over all patterns in the individual people, not these broad stroke statements painting everyone with the same brush.

facial expressions and body language correspond to N & F; Fe & Ni. about I/E P/J not sure. intertypal feelings also. he's exotic and interesting for me, but stressful, too.
in short, by the non-verbal & intertypal method. easiest way to understand is to read the theory, try to type people and to see how the traits described in the theory matches what you focus on in this method. and to look at type examples of people who are skilled in using this method. Sol should have many (you can look in the Beta examples thread - with the reservation that older examples should, hypothetically, more often be incorrect), although with regards to specific questions i'm not sure how to reach him now. not active on socioforum, but maybe he checks for PMs and similar.

Yesterday, I was watching a documentary about Marco Polo in which I discovered a Historian named Dr. Frances Wood was saying that Marco Polo didn't go to China and that basically the Marco Polo's "Story" was in fact a synthesis a several travel stories from different people. Anyways, I was looking for an Interview of the Lady and I found it (among other nuggets !) in the channel of this gentleman who by the way is not only an Emeritus Professor and a great intellectual, but he is also a remarquable interviewer !

    Warren Zevon. LII.

He's channeling my LII sister in the above video.

Dave Letterman (LIE) really liked him. When Warren made his last appearance on Letterman's show, when he knew he was dying of cancer, Zevon said "Enjoy every sandwich." Which is just about the most Alpha thing ever.

For the record, I always thought that the "Werewolves" of London were LIEs, working in the City. Always. Werewolf is a good Alpha description of a Gamma.

Zevon seems EIE to me. He's so expressive. And werewolves are a very romantic and deeply archetypal symbol, which is a beta thing. "Enjoy every sandwhich" doesn't mean much to me that he's talking about food. But it is powerful in a subtle way.
