I think I might have 2 polrs - one rational and one irrational .
Do you think it's possible to have 2 polrs?

I've been thinking about this lately. I'm most bothered by people criticizing my and am totally defenseless, but it really irritates me when other people use , though I receive less criticism in this area and am less sensitive to criticism, but it does bother me when people expect from me.
I agree with Herzy - there is one PoLR, but the role can be extra-sensitive and act similarly to PoLR.
PoLR - constantly bad function. Not possible to really learn to use it. It will always be a weakness in some way.
extra-sensitive Role - Can be improved. It's possible to be better at using it, but criticism will not get any less painful.
In my case, I feel like role criticism is worse than PoLR hits, because Fe mistakes are visible to everyone but Si is a subjective thing. If someone says that my clothes don't match, I can try to convince myself that it's her/his subjective opinion.

I kinda feel that way about Fe though.
There are actually guidelines in aesthetics. For example, weighting different shades of actual colors to make things balance and blend well. This is why it is extremely difficult to wear something like bright white shoes. The lowest point of one's body is a distracting focal point in most cases so the body looks visually weighted poorly. The only huge shift is usually a cultural one where material type and shades of color fade in and out of popularity. That's the largest subjective area that line of thought.Originally Posted by Joy

You can't wake a person who is pretending to be asleep.
He's pretty much saying that light colored shoes throw off the balance of one's overall appearance, particularly if the person is wearing dark socks. I think it can work though if some one is wearing a loud enough shirt, but prolly only with dark pants. Light shoes with dark socks/nylons can also make a woman's feet look bigger than they are.
and white shoes aren't always like that if they're not all new and bright and whatnot
They still throw the color weight off.

I think the 4th function can be used but not controlled.

Theoretically, it would be very difficult to maintain a balance. It is not uncommon for people to overcompensate and take their 4th function too far.
