I always wonder why posts like this exist. It feels a bit to me like an excuse to deprive women of agency. How is choosing to be a doctor any different from choosing to act in porn? Why do we pathologize only one of these careers? People can definitely feel pressured into any number of "good" jobs too. Ask anyone with demanding parents. We only get weird about porn stars because our society carries around a bunch of nonsensical baggage about sex. It's a job just like any other and can certainly be done professionally. I don't see any reason to dig into the specifics of what leads people to choose it over any other career
