    Default Trump Hate = Germanophobia?

    I'm really serious.

When people were trying to keep Trump from being President, the insult hurled at him was "Drumpf." Drumpf is just a kind of silly-looking German name... like most German names. The only other German presidents we've had are Eisenhower and Hoover, and they tried to pretend to be WASPs, unlike Trump. Trump also gets compared to ****** all the time people aren't making fun of his hair, skin color, hands, or other body parts, and the official Trump biography says he resembles "Elvis and Mephistopheles." Now, Trump is incredibly ill-mannered, but Nixon was way worse and didn't get any flak until Watergate, and many others are similar. I think people hate Trump for not being a WASP. Obama's white half was WASP. Trump is 0% WASP. People don't just want third-generation immigrants as President, especially when they're German, and especially when they don't even pretend to be a WASP. I just wrote a poem about Trump Derangement Syndrome which I'm going to rework and I noticed every other line turned into something about Nazis, the Faust myth, or making fun of his name (the rest were making fun of his appearance or listing his supposed crimes.) Aside from Trump being very rude I'm not sure what's so horrible about him, though I'm not a Trump supporter either. People have insulted me, then when I insulted them back, they called me Trump even though I grabbed zero pussies or any other body parts and made no cabinet appointments questionable or not. I said Trump was President and they weren't, and also said Trump seemed much nicer than them despite being a rude person. Even if Trump is not very good I still suspect the 24/7 Trump Show is about him not being a WASP or assimilating to WASP culture. Having a 100% non-WASP President is much more shocking than having a half-black WASP or a raised Catholic WASP (Kennedy, incidentally assassinated) basically.

I still don't see what Trump did that's so horrible. There's no war with Iran and he's not drone bombing civilians like Obama or anything else that seems horrible other than spelling coverage as covfefe. That's horrific.

And anyways, Trump Derangement Syndrome is very much a thing and would still be if Trump did commit a billion impeachable offenses and go to prison for life. The fact is Trump is not responsible for your dog dying, your wife/husband leaving you, your alcohol addiction, losing your money, having your house repossessed and your truck break down like in a country song. If Trump were ****** you'd have worse things to blame on him than those, and since Trump isn't ****** lousy people blame their depression, their last breakup, and unused expensive gym membership on Trump instead. That's Trump Derangement Syndrome.

I have encountered less ridiculous examples of people going crazy about Trump in my life.

Though /pol/ is not the best source generally, Hillary losing the election by making Drumpf jokes which alienated highly-populated blue states with large German populations is born out by the map. Look at those regional maps too. Of course people who identify as German aren't in on some Vote Drumpf (or Third Party Protestvote) conspiracy, but look how uncannily close the county votes for Trump and counties of ethnic Germans are, especially in Alaska, Florida, California, and Texas where there are larger regions of Germans vs. non-Germans for contrast.

The only groups which seemed to vote consistently for Hillary were Mexicans, Irish, and white Southerners ("Americans.") Germans voted consistently for Drumpf. Every other group seems not to have been consistent.

Fun fact: did you know all of Trump's money is in Deutsche Bank? I'm quite relieved that the Krauts have more economic power than the WASPs and backed one of the first non-WASP American Presidents since Martin Van Buren. As usual, people confuse Germans with Russians when looking for "meddling." Le sigh.

The ‘I Am Not Alt-Right Polka’

    Full lyrics:

The I Am Not An Alt-Right Polka***

As you travel through Der Schöne Drumpfland,
A melody will greet your ears.
It’s a melody that’s been around in Dtumpfland
For at least a couple years.

Each and ev’ry Fascist dances to the strain
Of The I Am Not An Alt-Right Polka.
All without exception join in the refrain
Of The I Am Not An Alt-Right Polka.

Bannon is a crazy we wanted to deport.
Sing The I Am Not An Alt-Right Polka.
We thought that Mar-a-Lago was just a nice resort.
Sing The I Am Not An Alt-Right Polka.

The supremacist is cultured, he does not like to fight.
The peaceful life is what he most enjoys.
For years, the racist people were utterly convinced
That the words “Heil Drumpf” were just a lot of noise!

I never shot an AntiFa or hit one with a car
Sing The I Am Not An Alt-Right Polka.
Sing The I Am Not An Alt-Right Polka.
Sing The I Am Not An Alt-Right Polka.

Are you not a KKK? –I am not a KKK.
I Am Not an Alt-Right Polka.
Do you not love Charles Koch? –I do not love Charles Koch.
I Am Not an Alt-Right Polka.
Do you not despise non-whites? –I do not; some of my best friends…
I Am Not an Alt-Right Polka.
Do you not think Drumpf is great? –I do not…Drumpf? Drumpf who?
    Drumpf who?
    Ja, Drumpf who?
    Jäckel, you’re putting me on.
Was ist bedeuten sie, “Putting me on”?
Are you kidding me or something?
Nein, I’m not kidding you. Drumpf who?
    Donald Drumpf.
Should I know him? Is he a folksinger?
    You don’t remember?
Nein, I don’t remember him. Who is he?

    –Well,…

A childish man, very mean, so loud and unfair.
    –Mm-mm.
Tiny hands, he never smiles, really awful hair.
    –Nein; I never heard…
He has a girl, Melania, quite a trophy bride.
    –Ah, ja, ja.
Is accused of many things which he all denied.
    –Of course!
He’s the one who clapped his hands, then he jumped for joy.
    –Ja!
When the news came to him he’s Putin’s little toy!
    –Da, ser!
Democrats, to a one, think he is a jerk
Cause he’s trying to undo his predecessor’s work.
    –Sehr gut!

“Today, the Republicans, tomorrow, the world! …tomorrow, the world! …tomorrow, the world! …tomorrow, the world!….tomorrow belongs to me!”
    –I’ve never heard of him.
    –Neither have I.

To our liberal allies let us raise a toast.
Sing The I Am Not An Alt-Right Polka.
Sure there are some Alt-Rights, two or three at most.
Sing The I Am Not An Alt-Right Polka.

We tried to throw out Bannon right from the very start.
    That’s what ev’ry hist’ry book should tell.
We all hate Stephen Miller, Richard Spencer, too.
We believe as Lincoln did civil war is
    hell…hell…hell…hell…...heil!…heil!…Seig heil!…Sieg heil!…Heil Drumpf!

Alt-Rights are as gentle as flowers in the spring.
Sing The I Am Not An Alt-Right Polka.
Alt-Rights are just people who love to dance and sing.
Sing The I Am Not An Alt-Right Polka.

Wait a minute! Wait a minute! You there, you are not singing. Did you not like to sing? Tell me, you have mixed-race family members, nicht wahr? Sing!

Sing The I Am Not An Alt-Right Polka!
    Heil Drumpf!

Personally, I prefer the Bahn Frei Polka, which I played in honors orchestra to an encore, but to each his own.

    Heil Drumpf!
    Trump/Epstein 2020!
    Trumpenstein for President!
They’re 2 of a kind. If you like one, you’re sure to like the other.

I want to vote Trumpenstein. The monster would make a pretty good President or Vice President to Dr. Viktor von Trumpenstein himself.

Trump's policies do seem like a hot mess, never mind the man himself, and I can't say I love him, but him helping German-Americans by financially linking Germany and America seems pretty obvious at this point, as does all the Trump hate being Germanophobia. Originally Drumpf was the only Trump joke. The rest are backpedaling.

You're Germanophobic and you know it. I have a zero-tolerance policy for bullshit.

    I read you like a book, didn't I?

I have no opinion on Trump being president. It doesn't affect me one bit. I think he is interesting. I actually followed the Apprentice for a few seasons, so I pretty much knew what to expect from him. I can see how his presidency affected politics outside the US, in the middle east specifically, but most of the changes the middle east is going through currently is due to Obama's policies, good or bad. One major thing is the reduction of american military presence in the region. Obama actually closed a couple of major bases in the gulf (the one in Saudi Arabia has been inactive since 2014). It's an interesting subject, but it would be of no use to you, plus it no longer interests me. I'm just looking forward to what is ahead.

I remember when those maps were all over Facebook after the election to show how popular Trump is. Never underestimate humans and their ability to recognize color differences.

Those electoral maps should paint the Atlantic and Pacific oceans red, too. I'm pretty sure that most fishermen are conservative.

And yet, and yet.....Trump lost the popular vote.

To shed some light on this.
Drumpf is the family name at birth of his grandfather. I see it as a reminder that they're people who see him not as a member of the own group or in that case they deny that he is a true US citizien from their pov.

The grandfather of Donald changed his family name in the USA from Drumpf to Trump. In Germany you can change your first and middle name – if you're at legal age – but you can't change your family name.
There are only two exceptions from that rule: Being member of a witness protection program or for the sake of reintegration into society, and even that has to be granted by a decision of a court.

My perspective is that Donald Trump isn't a representation of a typcial German citizien. German politics nowadays are little more on the left-wing side; so from a German pov he isn't conservative, he is a true right-wing politician. The majority of Germany are moderate centrists leaning left-wing.
Part of that could be overcompensation after WW2, nowadays supporters of true right-wing politics tend to earn bad reputation from most people.
Nearly all radio and television broadcasters represent a rather left-wing position in Germany.

The concept of hating somebody because of the ethical origin is totally foreign to me; and usually I don't care if somebody can't stand me.

I'm bewildered of the claim that disliking one person of a specific origin means being afraid of all people of that origin.

While on the county level, most areas will always be red because rural people are generally Republican loyalists, in this case most urban ones were too because Hillary was just really unpopular, and most Trump voters didn't like Trump so much as they hated Hillary to begin with. Also, most of the "rural Trump supporters" are "coal miners" in headlines, which is ridiculous because coal miners are a very low population. Uneducated, accidental "working-class fascism" is a lot less scary than fully intentional middle-to-upper-class German-American neo-Nazism. Even the word "German" makes people imagine occultist Nazi demons with minds like machines and probably also lederhosen and pretzels, and combined with a socially-excluded yet not powerless class should cause quite a bit more alarm than some redneck ignoramuses being seduced by fascistic ideas (incidentally, this points the finger back at Hillary for not allowing them to be seduced by socialistic ideas, though it's also not true.)

The Mythology Of Trump’s ‘Working Class’ Support

Coal miners: there aren't many of them.

“Silver noticed that the areas where Trump performed best made for an odd map. Trump performed well in parts of the Northeast and industrial Midwest, as well as the South. He performed notably worse out West. Silver looked for variables to try to explain this map. Was it unemployment? Was it religion? Was it gun ownership? Was it rates of immigration? Was it opposition to Obama? Silver found that the single factor that best correlated with Donald Trump’s support in the Republican primaries was that measure I had discovered four years earlier. Areas that supported Trump in the largest numbers were those that made the most Google searches for “******.”

Well, then most of that is black people searching "******," seeing as there are a whole lot more of them than "rednecks"/Scots-Irish according to the map, and the only predominantly-black state which voted for Hillary was Virginia. People really hate Hillary even more than they hate heiling Drumpf.

It seemed unbelievable that any states are predominantly black, so I googled. https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/...pulations.html

1 District of Columbia 50.7% African American
    2 Mississippi 37.3% African American
    3 Louisiana 32.4% African American
    4 Georgia 31.4% African American
    5 Maryland 30.1% African American
6 South Carolina 28.5% African American
    7 Alabama 26.4% African American
8 North Carolina 21.6% African American
    9 Delaware 21.0% African American
    10 Virginia 19.9% African American

    1. The vast majority black people voted for Trump according to the map above, but it's well-known black people are the main users of the word "******" anyways and spend a lot of time googling rap lyrics. Incidentally, rappers adore Trump.

I apologize for rustling the jimmies of all the brainwashed people on 16t.

It also seemed ridiculous and worth googling that the vast majority of black ppl voted trump, so here are some stats, but of course ppl can lie on polls and stuff, you can run with that. https://www.bbc.com/news/amp/election-us-2016-37922587

(8% if you don't feel clicky)

Interesting. I think I'm going to leave the issue alone for now. It would take a really serious analysis of all the data to find out what's going on and pseudointellectual bickering on 16t is not the context for that, but nevertheless most news media just seems like sensationalism and brainwashing no matter who it's from.

    https://www.rasmussenreports.com/pub...more_is_needed

I'm going to doubt that 8% is accurate because the media is so invested in hating Trump I can't even watch a comedy show that isn't dedicated to him, but I'm not going to estimate a real number for now. I know Kanye, who is kind of bonkers, likes Trump and black people I know wear Kanye 2020 shirts.

1.) The majority of those Trump references made by rappers occurred BEFORE he ran for president, and he wasn't personally "adored" in so much as respected for what he represented (wealth and status) in their minds.

2.) Because you're an ignorant, disingenuous piece of trash, you want to dismissively pretend that "black people," as if they are a monolith which is a problem in and of itself, seriously like saying the n-word with the hard 'r" as opposed to "nigga" which has a different connotation. Even more preposterous, that in parts of the country where they are most stigmatized, they'd be the primary parties searching that term. Ugh, chug lighter fluid over a blow torch.

3.) Your brain is already a raging dumpster fire seeping garbage juice everywhere. Drugs, illegal or otherwise, would probably serve you well.

And why are folks seriously engaging this piece of shit in good faith? Does anyone take their premise that what's fueling Trump hate is Germanophobia, seriously? I mean, c'mon. There is not enough brain damage in the world.

Because 16t is basically conspiracy theory central? Because during the election, you really couldn't get away from tasteless Germanophobic "Heil Drumpf!" jokes? Because no one in all the world's willing and able to conclusively explain Trump? Because all the "Trump fans are racists" is asserted with blunt force as a scare tactic rather than explained with statistics?

The case for taking Trump’s black outreach seriously

It probably looks like im seriously engaging but googling statistics and stuff makes me feel slightly more studious and shit than scrolling tumblr or babbling random thoughts but suffices as a not-overly-intense distraction from organizing the content found in compiled SOPs.

I do wanna ask germans though, if any of y'all are around, do you feel social pressure to distance yourself from ******? Im actually curious now..

    Ok, I'll answer you question.
I can't remember a single moment in my life where I'd to distance myself from ******. No one ever assumed that I'd a relation to ****** in a positive way or that I'm a supporter of his ideologies.

And in Germany itself there are only some small far-right groups that openly support his ideologies... but that might be less than 1 of 100 Germans.
Most people who vote for far right-wing parties are not true racist, often they are frustrated and dissatiesfied with the present government; which might be the case in more countries.
