Typing is applicable to most in human bodies, but not all. It depends on your level of spiritual maturity ~ if you are of a human soul as most or a spirit etc., if you are living under angelic laws of "karma" as most, and the like.

For a season there I tried hard getting "typed" per the old ways but I realized since it is still ultimately inapplicable for me and I understand the dynamics. I'm centered. Perhaps some of my old articles on the forum will shed light on the subject for the inquisitive in search of more truth.

Conventionally maybe 1 label could apply a little on a shallow level than a model level but not really have true significance on this general topic of partial perspectives.

I do also hold to the philosophy that some humans are incarnate angels or ancient souls cycling off the reincarnation wheel on this planet or other beings etc. So keep an open mind a bit when trying to type and if it just seems to elude you, you might be an incarnate human in a special minority for a reason.

It's easier to type people that you know from a distance that renders them one dimensional because they then match predetermined categories more fluidly. I can see why those people would seem like lesser beings or immature, but only if a person were inclined to push things off themselves in the process of placing themselves above, in general.

That said, you're entitled to not have a type, and nobody really does anyway.

I think that the sixteenth types describe most people, but not all. Just as you can have a physical description of human beings that includes most of humanity, there will always be those people with two heads who are exceptions.

I feel that way about my own “type” on most days.

It's not fair but people are going to box you in your entire life. Yes I think the types are about gross stereotypes but they are often true. IEIs are romantic and victimy, LIEs want to exploit you for money, SLE males are in prison- LSEs use SLE males as scapegoats to look more righteous etc. EIIs are moralistic and prudish to a fault, in an eyeball rolling way. ESEs ask you 'are you hungry?' too much after you've already eaten a feast. LSIs are Gunners/Archers/long-ranged DPS classes if super powers were real.

But I think the ways you don't fit the type stereotypes are something u just have to constantly stick up for yourself your entire life. People are original & unique, but then again - they're also not. I think in a way this is better than just being blah blah types don't exist. /naive head in the clouds as you ride the "spiritual" wave with Phantom Esther Hicks in the sky.

Perhaps you are approaching socionics from the wrong angle. I'll explain to you from the point of view from which I see it fundamentally, and also how I conceive/apply it to myself and others, that perhaps is also the wrong angle, but there is little less I can do.

Socionics cannot be a personality typology, simply because it would be ineffective compared to other frameworks in describing personality. Socionics cannot objectively describe by itself the core personality traits of a human being, although it can explain certain personal inclinations, that are in some cases almost irrelevant in the proper personality of someone. There are not 16 personalities, the human being is made up of quite a few variants, and many of them (among these, the personality itself) are already correctly understood by other psychological hypotheses to a degree higher than that which we could achieve using socionics in a behavioral way (or far worse, typing through stereotypes or wrongly associated characteristics).

Try to use socionics as a categorization of the ways of processing information within an individual into a single, narrowed down information element, and after that as a framework in which you choose, observing the mental processes (information elements) that an individual uses to process, generate, and in general work with the information he receives (and not the personality itself of that individual), then, decide in which cognitive function you can place these processes within Model A to recreate the general picture of his sociotype. Forget about romantic styles, subtypes, temperaments, and so on, and stick with the base, the information elements, and Model A, and build from there. I hope it works for you. Furthermore, sociotype itself is unrelated to "souls" "angels" or whatever natural religion you are into, it is about describing, interpreting and categorizing factual mental processes that can be observable in human beings.

Lol. Or maybe just be interested in whatever you want and don't worry about it hah. Some high IQ folks I've met have been dumber than average, simply because they lack wisdom. And the more focused they are on the number, the more their ego is tied into it, and ego is the biggest obstacle to gaining wisdom.

Socionics doesn’t measure intelligence/IQ. It doesn’t measure emotional maturity or intellectual maturity either. It’s cognition which sorts out how a person thinks, like a map to how a person reasons the way they do and the motivations behind it which is why it falls under the psychological purview.

I mean if you’re leaving socionics for whatever reason, no one cares, just like no one cares why you got into it to begin with. All these theatrical Fe displays get really tiresome.
