Nothing can be "socionically valid" in terms of typing over the internet. I look for convincing VI arguments, accurate functional dissection of consistent behaviors and tendencies, and type-related similarities to other people of the proposed type.

I can see the LIE in him in that silly Finnish show with the two boys and in the Charles Rose interview, that's the real him, rather than his comic persona, which he himself said that he's always improving.

Actually I agree with Traveler about EPs. They all have plenty of goofs, from Conon O'Brien (ILE) to Craig Ferguson (SEE), but even then it's not the same as Ne-doms who don't even seem like they're trying, who feel that natural and inherent. The reason I say

He's LIE IMO, I'm pretty sure of this from watching his interview with Charlie Rose online a while back. His natural persona is quite dry and serious, and he's admitted that the character he displays on his show is just that
