It's hard to tell out of the two hay. I would go for ENFP over ENTP at the moment but I am by no means sure. I don't mean the characters are ENFP but they to me seem like characters created by an ENFP, ie Sasha (assuming he creates them himself). One of my mates who is an ENFP and I often come up with characters and act em just like that, there is something very similar about how their traits manifest. I don't know how to explain it too well but to me it just seems like the characters are created by an ENFP.

Yeh I agree with all of that. Guess it is mostly an Alfa movie, with a part Delta in there too.

Oh yeah I can see Brokeback Mountain being Delta. Cause I didn't really like the movie. I just honestly liked the gay sex parts and when he spat in that dude's asshole. Because I'm 12. But the whole main plot and such was just like.... I just didn't like it. I only liked it cause it was a generic obvious 'Gay is Okay' movie kinda. But other than that it wasn't my thing at all.

Just my luck from here on out the only other gay men I will meet will be ESTjs... *emo tear*

    "Hondo", a John Wayne movie.
Hondo Lane, a dispatch rider for the cavalry, encounters Angie Lowe, a woman living alone with her young son in the midst of hostile Apache territory. She presumes she is safe because the Apaches, under their chief Vittorio, have always left them alone. Later Lane has a run-in with Angie's reprobate husband and is forced to kill him, not knowing who he is. Vittorio captures Lane and to save his life, Angie tells the Apache chief that Lane is her husband, unaware that Lane has killed her real husband. In order to protect her from a forced marriage with one of the Apache, Lane reluctantly goes along with the lie, though he knows the truth must eventually come out, to Vittorio and to Angie, both.
More so than that simple summary from IMDB, it was about Hondo helping to raise the boy and his approach to the woman.

Also, Gran Torino may be somewhat delta.
There is very little glamorization of anything. Compared to a beta movie like "Wanted" (I think that's what it was called) or "300", there is very little entertainment or amazement, it's very realistic. And there's a slow building of an Fi sort of relationship/s at play, and Clint's character changing through the movie. Clint is kind of like a delta ST in that movie who could use the help of a delta NF (especially IEE) to get him to develop, meet the new people, and also see the consequences of his .... acts of violence on other people.

I'd guess Alpha. Its not definitely not Gamma.

There was another similar thread, wasn't it ? I've wrote this before, somewhere

    Lady Chatterley (Pascale Ferran, 2006)

The New World (Terrence Malick, 2005)

    Dead Poets Society

Not sure but maybe The Nightmare before Christmas (Henry Selick, 1993) ? Can't decide, alpha or delta ?

Wasn't Gaiman on The Nightmare Before Christmas? Or was that Burton?

"If it's weird, it's NF. If it's fairytale weird, it's Delta NF; if it's dramatic and depressing as well as weird, it's Beta NF."

I think Alphaweird tends to produce slightly soulless characters, like Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei or Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, since the Ne focuses on making them as distilled as possible. Next question: what about Little Shop of Horrors? It and The Nightmare Before Christmas can be compared and contrasted for fun and profit.

Well I don't know the little shop of horrors, so I won't compare ^^
The Nightmare was made by Selick, but maybe produced by Burton.

When I see the female character in this movie, I can't help but think of SEI, you know. My other typing for her would be IEE but she seems well grounded. Jack on the other hand lives mainly in his head. I don't really imagine him being so receptive to Fi. Or maybe he is some kind of nerdy LSE ?? I have a blind spot on these 2.

NF don't always win the medal of weirdest characters. Some Ne or Ni is enough to grant weirdness. Irrational temperament comes second, or so I think

    Have just thought of
    The Big Lebowsky
My name is nobody (with Henry Fonda and Terence Hill)

Golden Swallow (Come drink with me 1966) , under estimated one

Crouchen Tiger Hidden Dragon (or something like that) by Ang Lee

Ok I edit every 2 minutes...
After the wedding (could fit into gamma too but there are good examples of deltas in here)

    Ah, and what about
The Pianist (don't watch if you haven"t seen the movie, it's a mega spoiler)

Sorry if it has been mentioned before, I don't remember.

I liked it too, my vote goes to Gamma, though Batman is rather LSI-ish.

Batman was probably more ESI, in terms of how he was very ethically and m morally confident about what he did. He seems unconcerned with Fe.

For some odd reason I really liked the scene where he eats the buttercup teacup thing. I always wished they made those and sold them in stores. I would have totally eaten them. I know for a while they sold wily wonka candy, but it didn't look like the real thing

The initial generosity, the following suspicion, the protectiveness and wariness of the other family, the facial expressions, etc.
I haven't finished it yet, I'm on part 3, so no spoilers, yet.

I'm not nearly as tight as my SLI mom. You ever hear of kids who do something differently than their parents when they grow up as a way of rejecting how their parents do things? I reject my dad's flightiness and my mom's stinginess.
