DMX - where the hood at

ya ya its not a film

This definitely represents all of Delta... Searching for the inner the meaning of life... "Where the hood at" is simply asking, where is my duals at?

"You better BUST THAT if you gon pull that"
Here we see DMX let his weak Fe take over and he starts threatening...

"BLAM BLAM, lungs are gone, sons will mourn" He is using his and is foreseeing the interaction between 2 people who are not getting along after being in the wrong "hood"

"From then till now, don't ask me how" He has helped you find the hood after he found it, but he is not certainly not going to spoon feed you through life. Part of learning is being independent! Aww so delta!

Sandler is, IMO, IEI, but the actor's type has nothing to do with the movie. Probably Delta, if you ask me, although I could see the case for Alpha.

As for LMS, well, yeah, some of the characters seem Beta, but the movie is all about Delta , IMO. Gamma is the only other one I can see.

I disagree. The characters' and actors' personalities define the movie.

They have absolutely nothing to do with the overriding themes and messages given by the movie, which is what I focus on when assigning a movie a quadra/type.

I loved the Incredibles! I loved Cars too. I had no idea I could get teary over a movie about animated race cars. LOL

Here are a few favorites from my Delta house:

    Casablanca
    The World's Fastest Indian
    Singin' in the Rain
    The Great Escape
    The Brave Little Toaster

That's all I can think of this minute. Maybe some of those are Delta movies?

    I think these:

    Casablanca
    The Great Escape

    are clearly Delta.

    As for:

    Singin' in the Rain

I think it's more like Alpha.

Oh I LOVE The Pursuit of Happyness I definitely second that!

The Muppets Take Manhattan (Kermit seems kinda ENFP to me).

I LOVED The Fastest Indian! I almost cried. Hopkins' character was TOTALLY ILE, but again, the focus of the movie is all about the relationships he has and gains during his journey. The idealistic nature of his quest, childish nature, and the way he shrugs off the doubt of others is totally Ne: only he understands the full potential of his motorcycle, and sees no reason to doubt it.

I thought it was a bit long but disgusting? where's that coming from?

FWIW I found it much more enjoyable at home on DVD where I could keep the bong loaded

Yes, long, boring, fictive in a way I don't respect, and strangely repelling to my taste. Don't quite get where the "Delta" vibe comes from, maybe I should watch it again. But at the time, I really disliked it and ended up amusing myself with everything else (in the cinema) but the film which I couldn't concentrate on because of the boring and protracted content.

I wasn't particularly into those movies either. They've been on the TV while I've been in the living room I'm sure. And I think we might even own one. But I remember very little of them. I thought they were pretty boring. I like Ian McKellen though and I remember watching a few of his scenes.

Me, too. Tolkien is a genius...and what I like about the movie is that there is more character development than in the book, so it adds another dimension (and very successfully so).

I would just really like to know what is childish and especially disgusting about it..

Yes he is. I like Orlando Bloom too, but not with the blond hair. And he looks better as he gets older - he was pretty young then.

I actually prefer his look in LOTR, clean-shaven and courageous-looking. But it would have been better if his character has dark hair.
