I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

To be not soft does not mean to be "cruel and inhuman". Mainly "soft" is about be perceived easier, weaker, lesser pressing, lesser annoying, etc.
Also, IR influence on how positive you perceive someone. For deltas SLE has more associations with to be strict, cruel, dangerous, etc. not "so nice". If your pal was SLE indeed, then with your EIE you should perceive him with more positive associations and expectations.

In general, SLE are relatively rough as T and physically pressing people as Se, extensive as E. It's by the theory and common descriptions.
As I noticed you tend to ignore and reject common Socionics theory. The recent example of what was when you said disagree that good IR help to establish friendship.

That dude is not SLE. If Se, then with F.

Same sociotype as Chris Hadfield. Chris is a little better at getting "good Fe vibes" from society, though. Unfortunately Anthony Fauci also fits the bill of "society climber".

That wasn't really the metrics I used. His lessons are centered on body awareness, inner bodily feelings. The content is buttressed but what I call "call for ethics", which is a message I've witnessed a lot in sensing types in the ST clubs. I typed him ESTj.

in his videos, he makes the point that you should be a good person and he is emotionally encouraging others. he also mentions how important it is to know who you are. seems clearly ethical and introverted, also a positivist.

I find it in the least surprising a gay person would advocate "knowing who you are", given these individuals spend their lifetimes questioning themselves.

"It costs nothing to be a good person". What a one dimensional view on ethics..... I'd be fine typing him ethical, given his younger pictures.

I'd more related this to being assured in emotional region, what is more expected for F type. In case he meant emotional perception by others.
I saw IEI which said me that it's easy to be liked by others, - same easy skill as to use a spoon. I've said him that such he thinks cause has F type. He thought own type as ILI and I pointed on his good relations/emotional skills as an argument for F type and against ILI.
So, I'd suspect F type for those who thinks it's easy to be perceived as good.
I have a lot of experience when for doing good in return people feel negative emotions to me. For example, they may dislike my arguments which point on their negative traits, while those arguments were needed to explain something useful for them. Or I do and insist on something what is useful, but people may dislike that by different reasons. F types do not understand how it's difficult can be to be liked, even when you do "good".
