A really Beta pop band.
What about the band ' The Kills ' . Beta?
and Enigma?
and Eels " Fresh Blood "?
and Massive Attack?
massive attack's overall mood is j-sub beta irrational imo. haven't tried to type any of the members though.
4w3-5w6-8w7
I hope you got a subwoofer
Is this Beta? Because I can't stop listening to it. I've seriously just been playing this band's music over and over again for hours at a time. I like the primal, almost tribal undercurrent in their music:
"How could we forget those ancient myths that stand at the beginning of all races, the myths about dragons that at the last moment are transformed into princesses? Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love."
-- Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet
They look like a group of Beta-STs to me, actually. This one made me cream my pants:
Also, I liked their version of "Cosmic Love":
"How could we forget those ancient myths that stand at the beginning of all races, the myths about dragons that at the last moment are transformed into princesses? Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love."
-- Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet
I think if I were to make music (which I have, but without lyrics) it would sound like them. They have great sound and instrumentals but the songs seem to generally lack direction. That was the issue I had with my own music.
Is that your own? I like it! I hear the similarity with the Hermitage Green stuff, actually. There's a lot of layering of rhythms which I love. It gives it a really intricate, "thick" sound. The lack of direction doesn't bother me so much, but I know what you're talking about. The music still "builds" in a satisfying way.

Nah, they'd just end up goofing off and never getting anything productive done. He'd need his activity partner to actually make some music.

I'm starting to think I've never had any close IEI friends.
the video of the music festival in miami is insane.
No one mentioned Garbage yet?
Basia is EIE.
Time and Tide (1987):
George Michael (SLE): Freedom (1990). Great song - great video.
ow, another fan of 90 commercial stuff ^^
The faithless track on the first vidz is epic
"The final delusion is the belief that one has lost all delusion."
-- Maurice Chapelain
Same period, the first use of S. Barber Adagio for string sample (smarter use that Tiesto imo) :
"The final delusion is the belief that one has lost all delusion."
-- Maurice Chapelain
