I think they're both introverts... Simon for sure. Garfunkel's a Fe type.

I think it's important to note that they had a lot of arguments. I heard of one where while in a period when they weren't recording together, Simon recorded something without Garfunkel, and Garfunkel got all mad. Simon said, "It's not a big deal." Garfunkel said, "Yes it is." Simon said, "Okay, I'm sorry." Garfunkel said, "No you're not because you're still the same person you were when you did that."

LMFAO that's friggin hilarious... seriously, that's the funniest thing I've heard in like a week

Yeah I agree, the short one is ISTP, the tall one is ENFP I think.

    I don't think they share a quadra, and I doubt they're duals. I think Garfunkel's a Fe type.

I think maybe SEI for Garfunkel. His voice has that sort of quality to it that I hear in other SEI singers.

Simon is SLI? Really? Will have to consider that one...Though, I was leaning towards IEI or ILE before...

Though, I do really love his lyrics, so maybe SLI is worth considering...

I think Paul Simon is a pretty clear EII.

Less sure about Garfunkel, but possibly Fe leading. They actually didn't have a very good relationship and the partnership ended badly.

One point that stood out was how Garfunkel wanted to "have fun" and capitalize on their fame when they were touring in a foreign country. Simon was irritated by this and saw it as unprofessional or something like that.

If you look at Simon's lyrics they are very Fi(Si) heavy, very soft and sentimental.

    Harmonizing and Creative
A true sense-perception certainly exists, but it always looks as though objects were not so much forcing their way into the subject in their own right as that the subject were seeing things quite differently, or saw quite other things than the rest of mankind. As a matter of fact, the subject perceives the same things as everybody else, only, he never stops at the purely objective effect, but concerns himself with the subjective perception released by the objective stimulus.

Could Garfunkel be IEI? That would make them Quasi Ids.

I get the vibe he might be 7w8.

I would have to go through the vid again to point out all the specific details but I type from how he moves hands, eyes, timing of words, posture, etc and how that compares to those type examples I am sure of. I'm not a hundred percent sure, it is my best guess. I thought enneagram sometimes can throw me off too if it's not common for that type that's why I thought about that too.

    Simon - LSI-Ti C-subtype
    Art - SEI-Si Harmonizing sub

It's benefit relations where they are both inert subtypes, in terms of socionics.

LSI sure is an interesting typing for Paul Simon! He did have a marriage and then on-again/off-again relationship with Carrie Fisher (IEE?) that was very explosive and apparently awful...

Bob Ross, the painter of beautiful landscapes, is hard to imagine as drill sergeant in the US Air Force either. But he was.

Based on the music / songs they made Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel seems both ethical types to me.

On the surface I think so too.

Simon I would type as SEI, I'm curious about LSI and not against it.

BTW I type Bob Ross as ESE and not SEI.

This seems to be a baseless rumor.

In case you're not aware, Paul Simon wrote basically all of their music.

    Ok. I didn't know that.
At least Paul Simon is a ethical type.

I wasn't born when they had their biggest success.
