How about guacamole?
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...

sería mejor q taco bell desapareciera del mundo. taco bell es la comida perfecta para los a quienes les gusta lo peor de la cocina mexicana.

it might be better in germany. i eat fast food easily in europe because it seems like europeans are pickier about fast foods in the first place. i find that "fast food" in europe is still something that hasn't turned into saturated-fat-and-additives-with-all-freezedried-gross-vegetables-with-no-flavor-on-a-plate.
the option here would be to go to any other independently run mexican restaurant and eat something a) healthier and b) probably more authentic.
the mexican food i ate in bilbao, spain (in one of their malls) wasn't so bad. i can't remember the name for the life of me, though.

I do like going to Taco Bell, but they don't exist in Europe outside Iceland, of all places.

aww it's not that bad... I actually like alot of stuff there. I wouldn't recomend living off it or anything but it's not the low grade dogfood you guys are making it out to be. It's one of two fast food places within walking distance at work so I tend to eat some lunch there a few times a week. Actually I take that back there's a McDonald's across the street but even I have standards.
I go to McDonald's often, there's one in Waterloo very close to the site of the battlefield. It's one of the few restaurants in Belgium that you can be sure will be open. Besides, they subscribe to the Financial Times which I can read for free there, except when some bastard has stolen it.Originally Posted by Bionicgoat

I think they crank up the syrup ratio or something to make it like that. I've actually gotten food at one place then gone to Mcdonalds just for my drink.
I've tried McDonald's in Belgium, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, Liechtenstein, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, France, the US, Brazil, and South Africa. I never noticed any difference in the quality of the burgers. A Big Mac is a Big Mac.
An acquaintance of mine, though, tried McDonald's in Managua, Nicaragua, and he said it was crap. Much worse than elsewhere.

I've never tried taco bell..don't really intend to either.
in general i tend to stay away from fast food. the food is usually just not very good.
if i need to eat something quickly i'm very happy just getting a bagel or something.
don't go to TB. actually try to stay away from fast food. but if i have to, Wendy's is the best of the fast foods. at least they have decent salads and stuff besides burgers!

I heard a rumor that there was taco bell in cambridge, and that there is a petition to open another delicious eatery.Originally Posted by Expat

that is what i was getting at. if there is an inescapable appropriation that is required in the act of understanding, this brings into question the validity of socionics in describing what is real, and hence stubborn contradictions that continue to plague me.

I like ordering about four spicy chicken soft tacos from the value menu and loading them up with fire sauce.
there is something magical about their coke.Originally Posted by Bionicgoat

I have a friend who almost exclusively lives off of Taco Bell. He has it for almost every meal. He also drinks about 3 2 gallon cokes and smokes 2 packs of ciggerettes a day. So far he's as healthy as a horse.Originally Posted by Bionicgoat

there was a time when i refused to eat taco bell.
i grew up in el paso texas, right on the border with juarez
my step mother was from guadalajara
i grew up with damned GOOD mexican food
and then i moved to Hatu (the backwards state)
the only time i got mexican food there was when my mom's friend would drive my brother and i to Salt Lake City to a little hole in the wall that catered to those who like non-european spicy food (meaning not indian nor thai, but not limited to mexican either).
in California i ate mostly salads
and when i moved to WA....there's been nothing
one restaraunt has offered to make me some good chili rellenos if i call in ahead of time....but i never really "plan" to go out to eat, so i haven't taken them up on the offer
otherwise, the only thing left is taco bell or taco time, but i don't consider them "mexican food"

my gay friend said "Taco Bell? Grade D beef? That's nothin but lips, toes, and assholes "
