She's quite awkward. It always makes ME feel awkward when others dont look me in the eyes but around. I went to my classmate who did the same thing, she'd look at me for half a second, and then look at the ceiling and around, it drove me insane but I never said anything. One day I went to her house to do some homework and I was wearing a cap. I was sitting in front of her and she just reached out and pulled it up saying it was hiding my face and it bothered her. I was mad because hello, you don't do that to people without asking permission.
I then retaliated when she started talking again and looking at the ceiling I immediately snapped my fingers on her face and said "Look me in the eye". She laughed and asked why, I said "When you talk to people you make eye contact". Interestingly enough, after that she quitted her old habit for good, not only with me but with everyone.
