Interestingly enough, one of the seminal novels which introduced cyberbunk was Neuromancer, written by William Gibson, whom I type as Alpha LII. On the other hand, Snow Crash was close to cyberpunk, but it was written by Neal Stephenson, whom I type as Gamma ESI. But Alpha did it first and, evidently, best.
