Since we have many new visitors to this site, who may not be that well aware of socionics, I thought it would be a good idea to post a collection of posts, which I have found especially insightful, but threaten to remain forgotten among the thousands of posts this site has. I remember my own posts much better than most others (I know... but it is human.) So I may have forgotten many hidden pearls. These are my subjective choices and everyone is welcome to add their own favorites along with short explanations. So without further ado, and in no particular order, posts that I believe might well be worth reading:

Just a personal remark.
Please replace, if possible, all the links to socioniko.narod.ru with www.socioniko.net - then they'll load much faster.

Check this website out. It has good quality information on Socionics.
Unfortunately for english speakers, it's in russian. But apparently it does a function by function analysis according to Model A. It also discusses suitable career options for each type. For example, INTjs make good teachers and methodologists. (Methodology = A system of principles, practices, and procedures applied to a specific branch of knowledge). I think that "Methodologist" describes an INTj better than "Analyst".
Perhaps each of us that speaks english well should each translate a portion of the website into good english, and then admin can put the info on this site.
You can obtain an online translator on the internet.

For all germans, i have written a wikipedia article. Of course you can improve it.
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sozionik_(Psychologie)
Unfortunately there is nearly no german information about socionics. I would be glad if this changes.

That's pretty good. The one error that jumped right out at me was that chart near the bottom with the function order in it. Some of the functions are wrong / out of order. Namely these types:
ESTp (should be Se Ti Ne Fi)
ISFp (should be Si Fe Ni Te)
ESFp (should be Se Fi Ne Ti)
ISTj (should be Ti Se Fi Ne)
ESTj (should be Te Si Fe Ni)
ISFj (should be Fi Se Ti Ne)
ESFj (should be Fe Si Te Ni)
INTp (should be Ni Te Si Fe)
ENTp (should be Ne Ti Se Fi)
INFp (should be Ni Fe Si Te)
ENFp (should be Ne Fi Se Ti)
INTj (should be Ti Ne Fi Se)
ENTj (should be Te Ni Fe Si)
INFj (should be Fi Ne Ti Se)
ENFj (should be Fe Ni Te Si)
The one that was correct was ISTp.
I'm currently editing it, assuming it lets me.
Okay it's fixed now.

That part's bullshit. Everyone does think alike, we all have our own opinions, and you can't generalize people like that.

I´m sorry for the mistakes within the functions.
@Rocky:
If you look at keirsey´s and socionics homepage, you will see that these types are right. I don´t want to generalize people, but only show the differences between mbti and socionics. That doesn´t mean that everybody thinks so, instead this represents the meaning of the official website.

Type/voice Correlation
One old favorite cached by google.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I noticed that there is a correlation between type and the type's voice. We should try to get some recordings to go with the pics.
I bet that with a neural network app one can identify type via voice and face. This can allows automated POLR attack systems. We can set them up in the battle fields to attack enemy soldiers psychologically as they walk by. "INTj recognized.... attacking.... Hey soldier, you have no will power, what are you gunna do in hand to hand combat? nothing?". They can be like posts set up randomly. But thats not important, lol just an idea for an application. but yeah.
heres what I can describe so far about type and voice (mostly guys).
ENTp - Slightly raspy but gentle voice, with quiver when trying to prove a point to someone who isn't agreeing.
ENTj - Forceful voice, loud, lavish
ENFp - Raspy cheerful voice
ENFj - Child-like melodious voice, with excessive stress on some vowels. "Reaaaally? Ohhhh, woooonderful."
ESTp - One word responses, not a forceful voice, a bit sarcastic, and annoyed. When talking to strangers, they try to sound more formal but have trouble making eye contact and thus their responses sound like burstes that suddenly end.
ESTj - Manly voice with specific words stressed. When stressing a point they like to use hand jestures, such as a fist hitting something for every sylible. Somewhat lavish tone. The females sound like they have been smoking for years.
ESFp - Some sound like gangsta thugs, some sounds superficially emotional, but not a pelasant tone. ie. "Heeeeey, buuuuudy! howz it going?"
ESFj - Melodious tone, slightly seductive, but as if talking to a child.
INTp - Sound liek they try to be excessively manly, especially when proving a point, or talking about man stuff, like cars or battle.
INTj - Sound whimpy, gentle and cautious. Make breif statement jokes, and then laugh like yogi bear. Sound very superficial when asking other about their opinion, with a half smirk on their face.
INFp - Sound like a stoners talking about some insane revelation.
INFj - Sound like pee wee herman (when acting silly), and normally a more toned down version of it. Females sound like Marry Poppins.
ISTp - Very formal tone.
ISTj - Sound like they fake emotion, talk extra slow as if to a stupid person, somewhat like Scar Face.
ISFp - Joyfull and abrupty laugh (if you have seen the movie, hypercube, Jerry talks like them)
ISFj - Formal and similar to people who speak on TV commercials for hoursehold products.

Though , it has never been my interest, Slava put me to think on connections between the types and their voices. I began to think.
Here is my method. Let others be it's critics.
First of all, voice has it's energy and it can be either strong or weak. Voice with the strong energy, is selfcomfident, voice with weak energy, is persuative. This is the discovery, what I related to four Jungian dichotomies.
(E)Confidence in talking - Drawing back from others in talking (I)
(S)Concentration on literal meanings in talking - Concentration in polymeaningfull in talking (N)
(T)Seriousness - Connecting to people (F)
(J)Talking in frases - Talking with flowing (P)
Wiht these four dichotomies, you can construct your own descriptions of types. Here is an example of INTJ.
Talks in a way ,that it doesn't confidently interrupt into situation, but may look like it's words draw back from others (I), sentences are serious(T), but have many meanings or overall meaning (N) and talks in frases:'' I think you are right, let me say why.''(J)
Here's an example of ISFP. Talks in a way, that it doesn't want to roughly put into situation (I),talking is literall (S) and connects with people, with tones (F) and words are flowing (P)
An example of sentence . Says with quiet voice (I), but literally(S), uses touchy tones (F) and talks like with out pauses (P) :''I think you should come with me out on Sunday.
But type is more, than just four dichotomies, that we mustn't forget.
Now, that I have postet my idea, I would like others to become and make this theory better, it needs to be improved.
