Not when I'm on a roll. But I often have to pause because my thoughts are so disjointed that it's difficult to make a smooth transition from one idea to the next. I dislike pausing, though, because people will interrupt my train of thought, then I can't remember where I left off (I guess a narrative type would hate that!) Funny though, I have a tendency to pick back up on interrupted topics hours or even days after the conversation ended.

I have to pause to think and to keep myself from sounding too complex ...

The question asks "Do you pause a lot when you speak". You said that you pause a lot. Shouldn't that mean that it didn't work for you?

Aren't you an ENFp Topaz? If so, how could you say it "worked" for you?

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought the questions was do I pause alot when I speak. My answer is 'No, I dont pause alot', which correlates with his grouping. see aboveOriginally Posted by MysticSonic

LOL, sorry, I read your response wrong.

I pause a lot when I speak so it didn't work for me.
That depends on what you're looking for. If you're talking about intention, then it did work for me, because I try my hardest not to pause. But if you're talking about what physically happens, then it didn't work, because the structure of my mind causes me to pause and think over what I said and should say. INFjs like Monica do this too for the same reasons.Originally Posted by Hugo
