Honestly, I don't if your dad is ENTp or not, but I wouldn't type him using NT stereotypes... but an ENTp should have as much Fe as an ESTp

there's something familiar about his look... but I haven't placed it just yet

I'm not saying anything about his type, but he really really reminds me of an ISTj.

It's amazing that I can't say anything about peoples types if those are old pictures or from a culture that is unfamiliar to me. Body language sure has changed over the decades.
