Are there multiple paths to dualization?

Say you can’t have one deep relationship with a dual, can you experience dualization through many shallow experiences with many duals?

Pretty good question. I'm pretty sure I'm a dualized person by now. My T and S functions (and even F) were brought to awareness with the help of many people. Even my intuition got enhanced by contacts with sensors because I learned to filter my dominant function and "deliver" it in pure form.
So my answer is YES you can, and this is probably already happening to you.
The difference with a dual is that the process tends to be intense.

With same time of an influence, the degree of positive IR influence on your personality and emotional state depends from a quality of the contact with a human and not from peoples' quantity.

Also to deal with more people is harder, will be additional loses.
To find many people with concrete type and who also have an interest to be pals for you - it's not easy task too.

If you'll can be pals (with regular irl communications) with alike 3 duals in the same time - you probably have superhero skills. Especially, for T-I as ILI in your profile.
For a situation when you have a pal in one time and another pal in next time, - it's evidently not better than if you'd had a good friend in these both time periods.

I think it be a mistake to over-idealize yourself with the concept of dualization, nevermind the question of whether there's multiple paths, in large part because there's no evidence beyond anecdote in favour of dualization as Socionics has it.

You can have surface duality with many duals, but it doesn't live up to the big time dualization (with all the stages) with that especial dual.

I think he might be referring to reaping the positive effects of dualization, not the experience itself. In that case, it might be possible to become self-dualized from interacting with some duals (and activities). But that is an egoistical way of handling the thing. Don't miss out on duality with the dual that has been chosen for you.

In any case, you also naturally become "self-dualized" with time, as you sort of gain exp points and "level up" in your type (class? — sorry, I've just played a lot of videogames).
