I think he's either INTp or ENTp. He's inventive and loves trying to forecast the development of technology is a quasi-spiritual fashion (for various reasons, I think you could argue that there's a spiritual quality about transhumanism, that it's about transcending our mortal coil and finding eternal life in a technological fashion with the hope of developing a god-like intelligence.) The spiritual aspects of transhumanism seems something an INTp might be attracted to, but I'm leaning toward ENTp because of his love of giving presentations, his inventiveness, and lack of fear about radical changes in society, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's another NT type.
