Conspiracy theories aside, there is something fishy about the Great Reset | openDemocracy

This is a left-wing source criticizing the Great Reset. As it should. "Woke" normies are not leftists, they're people who consoom Che Guevara merchandise while calling everything raaaacist and seeeeexist and hoooomophobic baaaaah baaaaah. However, one thing the "woke" left has in common with the very people they fight against every moment of every day is their nature worship. The Great Reset will not send people back to the Stone Age, they do not even want to go back to the Stone Age since they want some kind of infrastructure and they want weapons for them and not for you, but the worship of nature is still there because they think humans have to conform to nature and not nature conform to humans. Anyone advocating nature worship should probably not be surprised to see the end result, the reawakening of the bicameral mind complete with every kind of hallucination and "sense."

"Left" and "right" makes no difference to nature-worshippers, because the intersectional feminist and the MRA are both still locating the locus of humanity solely in the body and not in the intellect and shaming the intellect and, finally, claiming it must be curtailed in favor of a Rousseauian return to a primitivist state. So all the awful people who hate each other still intellectually agree with each others' worldviews, the wokies just think women are superior to men and black people are superior to white people, and the alt-right just thinks men are superior to women and white people are superior to black people. The only thing that makes anyone superior is rational intellect, and the primitivists like to rail against this, because the primitivists think the body is better than the mind, when even a cursory observation of the physical world around you shows this is not true. Technology does what the body cannot, and even knowledge without any permanent material technology such as psychology and mathematics is much more useful than people tend to want to estimate invisible intangible things as being since it can gain power over entire groups of people as well as aspects of nature trivially without lifting a finger.

The Great Reset really is a bad thing, and it is the natural outgrowth of capitalism. Capitalism is not just about the corporations, the military-industrial complex is also a huge part, which is why the Soviets are just as bad, the cliché of that not being real communism being true aside. No one is going to scale anything back other than what you, personally, are allowed to have. The consumption for the people at the top will be more than the entire consumption of the planet combined currently is, and this is just where the data points. It will be Iron Gates, Atlas Shrugged, all the lousy little poets coming 'round trying to sound like Charlie Manson.

It doesn't really matter. The past, present, and future on Earth are more or less the same, and all one or another form of dystopia which people who can't believe that's really true lie to themselves about since they don't understand why that has to be the case and they think there must be a way out by reforming everything in the image of the God-Emperor of Mankind. Just don't support garbage like this that promises to fix it. It won't fix anything.
