I think I must be a pretty crap ENFp though. Any compliment I give out is in the knudgery winkery format and often interpreted as incincire. Out of all the sixteen however, the ENFp does seem the most like me. Even the muscle tension fits the bill.
"Peace is but a shadow of death, desperate to forget its painful past... Though we hope for promising years. After shedding a thousand tears, yesterday's sorrow constantly nears. And while the moon still shines blue, by dawn it will turn to scarlet hue."
ENFps judge ourselves pretty harshly I think. It's possible that you sound more sincere to others than it feels like to you.
Also, if you read some of the less positive ENFp posts around here, you'll see that there are those who judge us as being insincere. Look for posts by MySaviour. Oh wait, did he change his username to something else? Well, anyway, every type has some issues where types that don't mesh so well with it find fault.

hmmm
First of all, it's curious that she (or is it he? I thought he...) said that she doesn't want to fit the bill to be INTj.
Also, Atrophy (lol I knew that's why you used that screen name... sounds like something the INTj I know would do), check out these descriptions. If you ignore everything it says about the way the types look and read the rest of the descriptions, they're easier for some people to relate to.
I'm trying to find some common dichotomies between ENFps and INTjs to make sense of why Atrophy reminds me so much of the INTj I know... obviously, the depression has something to do with it. I think the Reasonable and Negative dichotomies (the two most obvious dichotomies in both Atrophy and the INTj I know) explain the things I noticed in common pretty well. And Atrophy does seem to be a bit long winded for an INTj. I remember thinking that Atrophy seems to be a static type, and now that I think about it a bit more, she does seem to be more of a Declarer than Asker.
Anyways, here's the INTj's myspace.
Atrophy, if you feel like a lot of reading, check this out to decide which of the dichotomies describes you best.
I really don't think you're INTj, but ENFp does seem to work.
Also, I don't know if it's relevant, but you're 16 and a lot's going on at that age, not sure how that could affect your description, or how you don't relate to many of the types, but it could.
All Hail The Flying Spaghetti Monster
Yeah, being a teenager is very difficult because you're learning the difference between what you are and what you're supposed to be (ideally) and trying to figure out who you want to be in the future.
btw, I don't think you're INTj either (anymore). I just saw such a striking resemblence to the INTj in your style of whining (no offense!) that I had to mention it. Like I said though, the combination of the Reasonable and Negativist dichotomies explains that quite well.
First, just in case you haven't noticed, we discuss mainly Socionics here, not MBTI.Originally Posted by Atrophy

PoLR means Place of Least Resistance -- your weakest, or most helpless, function, the 4th function in Socionics.

ENFp seems like a pretty good fit.
First eliminate every possible source of error. Thence success is inevitable.
I think you shouldn't obsess about your type at your age because personality tends to fluctuate readily at adolescence. This is typically an identity crisis phase for most people.
