What IMEs would reverse engineering, say, a mask sewing method?

Found my mother attempting to unpick a wrongly-sewed part of a recreation of a mask her brother showed her. She says she enjoys challenging herself. I wonder if this correlated to socionics (not a request to type her it's in general). Is it related to Te? Or something else? I think it's about Te but I'm no expert.

(btw my mom has to feel productive, so when there is no work/she's tired of work she would literally just sew masks and other cloth objects until she goes mad. Help)
