ESI-Se here! Seems like there aren't that many of us (not necessarily the Se subtype, FiSe individuals in general) among the online typology community. I've been lurking and wanting to join for some time now.

@serenaeva Hi!
How did you discover you’re an ESI and what made you become interested in learning Socionics?
recommend to get opinions about your type as mistakes are not rare. more people will do more mistakes and those will feel better in wider company

@aster seems to have ESI

When i first got into typology i started reading Jung's descriptions of all of the cognitive functions. I really resonated with his description of Introverted Feeling and knew Fi-dominant in Myers-Briggs could be a possible typing for me.
I was really confused about my typing for the longest time, mainly due to the fact that people almost always used to type me either NiTe or TiSe. I knew i was Fi-valuing for sure however and stuck to the ILI slash MBTI INTJ typing for some time although i felt like i used too much Extroverted Sensing for it to be my inferior function.
I ended up getting to know some Socionics typists. All of them were sure i was Gamma Quadra but i was typed ILI by almost all of them (a typing that i didn't fully resonate with but people were quite convinced i was one because.. "Have you ever seen yourself debate?"). I was then VI-d ESI by @mfckrz and a friend of his. He had told me i was probably ILI or ESI from the get-go so his opinion on my typing isn't solely based on VI. I thought about it for some time and ended up coming to the conclusion that FiSe does indeed make the most sense for me, especially when taking my childhood/early teenage years behavioural preferences into account.
I suppose being around people that are mostly interested in Socionics is what made me interested in learning more. I was into MBTI (for the most part) up until relatively recently.
Come on, Marco. You haven't even tried to understand or get into VI. Easy to dismiss because "uh uh no, you can't correlate anything that has to do with physical appearance w/ personality, therefore the concept of Visual Identification automatically offends me" culture mentality.
