Default Betas that dislike other Betas

    am i alone in this?

other betas...that is, betas that are not of my own type (generally) tend to piss me off. they just dont like to think!

    hmmmmmm

perhaps i should be rethinking my type?
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

for example... how many betas out here would be willing to say "Ah-hah! ive gone and done it! i've created something new and it will work!"

or what about "What a fascinating idea. a stainless steel room in which -everything- is stainless steel. the couch, the floor, the walls, the pillows...all welded steel. terrifying."
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

am i really a beta at all? im beginning to see more and more that i am riding on a F/T cusp, that perhaps i am conceptualist rather than idealist, and so on.

    your thoughts?

I think all the time. Not logic though. I'm very perspective about myself and my emotions. Eew, logic. Boringgg.

I think it is perfectly normal to dislike members of you own Quadra on individual level. There are probably plenty of people in your own Quadra that you would dislike. However "generally" or "usually" disliking them or disliking the generic Quadra values of Beta would implicate you are not Beta.

I dislike many ESTps and ENFjs - the former, when is in the "bossy, controlling and paranoid form", the latter, in the "orator, moralizer, anal and nervous" form; however, this doesn't happen with ISTjs and INFps.

Are you seriously implying that ISTjs can't be anal?
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

No, where did I imply that? There is an and operator which bounds the anal condition to the nervousness, being an orator and a moralizer; moreover, the "this doesn't happen" was referred to my dislike and not to the properties listed in regard to the types.

Hell, who doesn't dislike (some) betas?

I used to have a business partner, an ESTp. Right from the start, he tried to take advantage of me. Without knowing me good, he requested a loan from me, giving me some merchandise as a warranty. Since the merchandise was worth well over what he requested from me, I decided to help him.

Soon after I agreed to work with him he wanted to purchase a car and wanted that the profit of the business go for it. He dealt with some persons and tried to exchange a laptop that was worth like $1,000 for a car that was worth easily $2,000, liyng about the real price. Later this client asked a friend to investigate and all business went down after he realized that this guy wanted to scam him. We lost a great opportunity because the client was well connected (=rich) and even offered to recommend us with people he knew (I think he was ISTp and liked me, he was am old luxury car collector and restored most of his cars himself). Also, the laptop was mine and wanted the car to be on his name.

Well, to cut long histories short, this guy always wanted to get everything for him, without sharing anything with me. He always tried to get around me. I bet he didn't know the concept of partnership and loyalty, virtues which ESTp usually brag about.

Worse, I think this is the typical behaviour of ESTp, because I've been in such situations with others. Some people confuses being generous with being weak.

You know what? You're an individual, and that makes people nervous. And it's gonna keep making people nervous for the rest of your life.

don't mistake an unhealthy personality with typical SLE behaviour. ESTp might take advantage of others but not long-term partners. that's just impractical.

although, i must admit i've met an indivudual like that before.
