Sure some of it is for the show, but the one thing he can't fake is his competitive nature and desire to win, to be on top, along with how he shits on people he considers inferior (Fi PolR), how he just takes over any group of people. Demanding, direct, impulsive and acts despite low information. he might be an extreme example, but I have known a handful of people in my own life who fit the same mold. They are rather common.
