Before I opened this thread, my first instinct was to say SEE. David Lee Roth was all about the glam, all about being the show, all about being in the spotlight and the center of attention. Not that those things necessarily make him SEE exclusively, but that was my instinct anyway.

The Fi valuing comes from a sort of ... I think he has a very natural ability to be able to look at and analyze the interpersonal relational conflicts or minglings that Van Halen seemed to have. Notice in the video how much he talks about the varying personalities of Van Halen and how they interacted and had to reconcile that.

I think this video highlights his Fi aspects quite well.

While I don't know much about Roth and thus, won't comment on his type, I don't think it's at all rare for Fi creatives to lack stable intimate relationships, since their main motivation is either or which is impulsive.
Sometimes I think only Te creatives can hold their interest, maybe that's why SLI's and ILI's tend to have such an aura of mystery to them...

David Lee Roth is one of my benchmarks for Se-SEE (males and females... The other--for males, primarily--is football coach Bill Parcells.) One of the greatest entertainers I've ever seen.
