Default The impact of age in type compatibility

This also applies to other types, but how long must be the age gap until duality starts not being so appealing?

Regardless of type, they say that an age difference of more than eight years either way causes the social markers to shift. The other partner doesn't recognize your music, movies, or your significant global events. Some phrases lose their meanings, or become parodies. Social attitudes shift.

    He: "Remember the Alamo!"
    She: "Who is Thea Alamo?"

    He: "Dammit! Another female driver."
She: "What did you just say?"

However, if you don't care about that stuff, the benefits of duality do not seem to diminish with age differences, IME.

    *EDIT*
A 22 year old female ESI-Fi wanted to get an apartment with me. I thought that would be a bad idea because I'm a bit older than her father, and I actually know him. In retrospect, however, I should have done it. There isn't enough connection in the world. I'm sure we both would have learned a lot.
