I think filthy pinko communists have had a deep and abiding influence on Socionics. For example, typing beta quadrant as evil and trying to fill it with Nazis. Beta quandrant simply seems like the idealist quadrant, and thus the exact opposite of Nazis. However, Nazis and Communists would probably share a quadrant, since they are both nihilists with the exact same ideology, just Hı̇tler wanted a form of race-based communism for "Aryans" due to being a social Darwinist and Marx seemed to mostly want one for Jews. Nihilism sounds like Delta values, Te (pragmatism,) Fi (solitary feeling,) Ne (arbitrary possibilities,) and Si (internal sense perception.) Beta values sound like the opposite, Ti (philosophy and ideology,) Fe (communal feeling,) Ni (visionary ideas and mysticism,) Se (action.) Germany, historically, is probably about as beta as it gets, what with all the famous German mystics and artists, the famous Dichter und Denker. However, Hı̇tler was extremely opposed to this part of Germany, seeing it as life-denying otherworldliness that threatens his "Aryan race" with extinction in the "struggle for survival of the fittest." However, like Nazis, commies are not generally known for their honesty. Socionics, MBTI, and the like most likely come directly from Aristotle, but Jung is a nihilist who would not have been that honest in how he implemented his personality typology, which was not the core of his philosophy and psychotherapy, his chaos gods were. I think if we want a good replacement for the terrible Big Five theory which is mostly just stating the obvious, like "depressed people don't clean their room and are withdrawn," we should probably look for any potential sources Jung might have had for his Aristotelean-based typology system, and sure as heck not being using either the Soviet or Nazi version.
