    Default Sx/so I'm confused

With every other SO stacking, SO lends a measure of conformity, cohesion, a desire to belong, and the desire to uphold their group/organization's standards -with varying degrees. However, the Sx/So descriptions seem to lack that completely. They are described as in your face, loud, and overtly sexual. Seems to me SO would actually temper a SX because of their desire to be accepted by their group's standards They would still shine bright, but they would also be very aware of not being offensive and alienating. I'm talking about people in the real world, not celebrities. The standards of Hollywood would actually encourage a SO to be flamboyant.
It's hard for me to reconcile that the key motivations of SO suddenly become opposite when SX is first. That doesn't happen with SX/SP. SX/Sp still care about health, security, nature, decorating their homes, privacy. Why are Sx/SO different?

Sx/So is just objectively describing Hollywood and other people who are way better than people who use enneagram sites is why. You can't run around having wild sex picking partners like Zeus on Olympus unless you also have Sp (resources.) Sx/So is basically SxSoSp all first. Some old enneagram sites literally and unironically compared Sx/So to gods. This makes be inclined to believe instinct stackings are bunk, since they completely neglect to mention that Sx/So seems to be describing wealthy and well-connected people while pretending to be some kind of value-neutral brain structure. It's not our fault we're gods and you're mortals or prisoners of hell, muahahahahaha. Instincts say: some of us are meant to rule, others to serve, others to face unceasing punishment, but no one ever says that. If it's true, be afraid of nothing and say it, and if you can't say it or it's not, shut up.

For what it's worth I don't think everyone is "equal," but stackings are dopey since they're judgments but they're passive-aggressive. I'd rather be regular aggressive.

I don't have a problem with the instincts, per se. My problem lies in the lack of continuity, when it comes to Sx/so. It's just isn't reasonable. The fact that all the Sx/so's of the forum haven't come out of the woodwork to defend the ludicrous description, makes me think I'm totally on the right track with this.

    Thanks for your input.
I'm just mulling it over. I think there is a lot of merit in the instinctual types, and can really help with self growth IF there was reliable information out there.
I'm pretty sure I'm SO last. SO concerns are so stressful for me. If I could have my way, I'd hole up away from all people and SO obligations for a couple weeks right this second.

I think Sx is natural instinctual energy, So is where it's directed, where the attention is placed.

SX is interested in what attracts them and feels good, i think a lot of the Sx/Sos here are mistypes.
Sx/So is cultural revolutionary, look at the 68ers and RAF (gamma) Sx/So and at the National Socialists Beta/Gamma Sx/so.

To me it is about cultural reform because you have to make a place for your desires and live energy in general. SO makes you keep included. So you basically push the envelope to make your passions socially acceptable. You are subversive by nature.
You analyze cultural ideas and social norms and see if you like the flow of how things go, if they are good or not for what your instincts tell you.

It's difficult to describe for me: Basically i think Sx instincts shows us what is good for us on a evolutionary instinctual level, it's basically eugenics. You see it with ****** and his ideology, it was all about Eugenics and transcendence, aiming for something higher, he tried to get his SO environment to align with his ideas of evolution and sexuality.
That's why it breaks systems, if a system is against life, does threaten humanity as a species sx/sos will be there to break it down and reform it while ignoring the consequences for their own health.

More often then not, they do it with a lot of love for their ideas and humanity as a whole but ignoring sp needs of everyone around, i think Martin Luther was an Sx/so one too just as ******.
Those are just my ramblings trying to describe this phänomonem, i'm not sure if its congruent, but basically sx/so looks at social norms and cultural ideas and strives to reform them to make them more suited with what they believe in and evolution of humanity.

So isn't necessarily about cohesion and conformity. Or it is, but not necessarily to the main culture. Political movements, counter culture, beatniks, elite groups, rebels etc are all So.

I think Sx might push this out more into a radical political leaning or sub culture (i.e. punk is v high in so and sx and completely sp blind) but generally people use their second stacking to get more of the first stacking. The mindset of Sx/So is: "If I can maintain position and inclusion in the group/world, I can keep up and escalate all this merging/intensity." So they will have some need to fit in and have a secure social standing; you're right in saying that won't go away. Don't lean to heavily on stacking descriptions and just understand the theory.

I think they act as someone who is both in and out of the social realm: in it enough to understand it but outside enough to change it. Like a good comedian often is aware of the room enough to play it but has to look at things from an outside and new perspective to make funny commentary on it. Same with politicians who can climb the ladder but retain a higher vision they're connected to. That's the Sx/So blessing. The sx/so curse is to always be too much and too different for society and to be painfully aware of it hahaha.

It can be pretty confusing. In a nut shell this is how I relate to each subtype sx: I couldn't live without it in my life. It feels like I can easily tap into it, turn it up or turn it down as needed. I feel very in tune with it. I really enjoy being flexible with it.
SO: I constantly feel pressure and stress here. I worry constantly about what others are thinking and feeling, do I fit in? I'm always adapting myself to others in order to not be judged by them, and feel like an outcast. That in turn makes me want to run away and get free of the pressure. I want to be loved and accepted by people, but trying to measure up is horrible.
SP: Feels like life draining work, but I don't neglect this stuff. A lot of the SP stuff I do is because I feel like I'm suppose to. If I do zxy that means I'm a good wife, good Mom, good daughter etc. If I don't I'm a selfish failure.
    Sx= enjoyable, relaxing, refreshing SO=anxiety SP=stress

Where do you think that puts me?
