    Default Somewhat basic introduction

Hello, I'm just going to jump straight into it, I'm relatively new to Socionics, I have a grasp of the basic concept but no real in-depth knowledge of it. I'm well-versed in Enneagram and I've dabbled extensively in MBTI. The reason I'm here is because most typology communities are centered around MBTI which after a while became unsatisfactory, it was too vague and simplistic and it generated a hive mind based on bias, stereotypes and circlejerking. And so, I'm hoping to learn more about Socionics in my time here and meet some cool people. Sound good?

Anyway, looking forward to meeting you all and learning more.

    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

bias is due subjectivism. Socionics has this problem not lesser. objectivity needs experiments, researches. Socionics is a fans made hypotheses still

stereotypes are about expected average. it's not bad when used with a mind

    MBTI is good in preferences.
Socionics adds better descriptions of 8 functions, IR theory, 8 functional model, and no mistake in introverts model. Duality theory also supports Jung's understanding of types as accentuations which are better to be reduced.
The other is not Socionics in normal sense, alike Reinin's traits, subtypes, physiognomy, cognitive styles, etc.

Indeed, bias and subjectivity is found everywhere, however the added depth and complexity "trims the fat" a little, so to speak.
