-Same as @squark. Yes, I like to joke around, but I'd hardly call that the basis of my personality.
What were the other choices?
Somehow, I got 74% Joker for both.
Got "the Joker" for both
It always seems like these tests misunderstand things and confuse things even more. Its better to read Jung, von Franz or Neumann to get a better picture. Lots of discussion is needed and examples from healthy people, neurotics and mythology.
The Self archetype is unconscious so it's projected. It is "the higher spirit" and we experience it as "society" or the spirit of our time. It's colored by our time and current culture. Its basically the spirit we live in and that pulls us "upwards" to become someone as opposed to nature or the instinctual life.
Its only after the midlife crisis when this spirit has been outlived that it gets disconnected from the coloring of our current time and it is now experienced as the timeless higher spirit. That means finding an absolute inner authority that can be the guide forward in life beyond midlife.
The decisive thing is not the reality of the object, but the reality of the subjective factor, i.e. the primordial images, which in their totality represent a psychic mirror-world. It is a mirror, however, with the peculiar capacity of representing the present contents of consciousness not in their known and customary form but in a certain sense sub specie aeternitatis, somewhat as a million-year old consciousness might see them.
(Jung on Si)
Yes but before that the archetypes are always all around us as projections. Anima/animus as the attractive image of a person of the opposite sex. But since they are transpersonal they are experienced as "the other" something foreign.
The test is confusing because the Self archetype is actually not experienced as something personal at all. And everyone has basically the same self archetype.
I just wanted to point this out. It is sort of irritating when things like these get simplified way too much.

It's not hard to understand, the test accidentally displays your "self" archetype for your "persona", the results below show your true persona.
