The trailer for the Medici: Masters of Florence series Season 1, but it spoils so much of the plot that it might as well be a big spoiler video. Season 1 was great, it basically talks about the Medici family and the influence they had in the Renaissance with some minor changes in the story to what actually happened in history. Banking families basically resembling financial royalty like the Medicis ruled and competed with other banking families in Europe at the 15th century.

It makes you wonder who the Medicis and other wealthy families of the 21st century for the Western world are today and if they likely prefer to remain hidden to avoid public scrutiny as they meddle with politics and business in a similar manner that the Medicis and other banking families did and it makes you wonder if they are more or less benevolent than the Medicis.
