I am a bit nostalgic about the old plus and minus sings of the functions.
Does this new kind of model make an ILE use the same Ne+ of a EII, are process/result types sharing all the same functions? what's the relationship?
Yep all the right spinners use Ne+ Ti+ Te- Si- Se+ Fi+ Fe- Ni-. Opposite for the Lefties. The most recent hangout with Dr G compared Left (Result) and Right (Process) spinning types.

This previous hangout was on the Functional charges:

NeTx in more depth. Charges discussed:

do you mean Ne- or Ni- for right types

Oops. thanks for finding the error. yep. Ni- for Right spinners.
In return, I'll give you some more explanation.
NiTx is a negativist so it leads with Ni- rather than Ni+. It is also a Process type.
NiFx is a positivist type so it leads with Ni+ rather than Ni-. It is also a Result type.
TiNx is a negativist so it leads with Ti- rather than Ti+. It is also a Result type.
All the 8 result types lead with these charges (I do it in the order of the TiNx's functions in Model G):
Ti- Nx ie LII
Ni+ Fx ie IEI
Fi- Sx ie ESI
Si+ Tx ie SLI
Ne- Fx ie IEE
Fe+ Sx ie ESE
Se- Tx ie SLE
Te+ Nx ie ILE
All those Result types have the same charges. NB: a stronger function is able to use both charges but favours one over the other eg NiFx is able to see how things could go wrong. NiTx (Ni- Tx) is able to plan for business success but in a more careful way than the positivist TeNx (Te+ Nx).

I was watching the vids and with regard to process/result types, it seems like Dr. G. was saying it only holds across a very thin layer, and he'd rather think of it in terms of evolutionary/involutionary because of how whether or not a type moves from simple-->complex or the other way around captures what process/result type (in the reinin sense) does better, and dovetails with the various information elements better. In other words, depending on how the blocks are constituted it can confuse or offset how process/result shows up, for example a Te valuing evolutionary (process) type (SEE) is going to look "result oriented" (in a colloquial sense) in a lot of ways, meanwhile a result Ti type (LII) may not, thus its better to think in terms of evolutionary/involutionary or right/left than process/result, since process/result is more about being "sucked into the process" and result being more able to freely switch, which again could get conflated with flexible maneuvering temperament because of how they are able to transition and yet there are process EP base and subtypes. In any case, Ben I was wondering if you could ask Dr. G to give any examples, if he has any, of public figures he would type SLI EII or ESI. Maybe if there's some downtime or Q&A. Also I wonder if Dr. G. has any tips on how to identify the base function in oneself, because that seems to be particularly elusive. Also maybe if he could touch on the asking/declaring dichotomy. and thanks for all your hard work!
you can sort of more easily see how SEE is more evolutionary because of how it tends to complicate the situation, whereas analyst simplifies things, even though technically analyst deals with material that may be considered more complicated to begin with (from a certain point of view) which sort of obscures the fact they work to make things simpler. in the same way SEE's power sensing tends to have a stereotyped crudeness to it, and yet if you watch Trump or some such you see how they eventually complicate everything they touch (in SEEs case the ethical relationships of everyone involved)

"Te evolutionary type (LIE) " TeNx is a Result/Involutionary type. TeSx is Process.
I agree with this: "and result being more able to freely switch, which again could get conflated with flexible maneuvering temperament because of how they are able to transition and yet there are process EP base and subtypes." think of NeTx in one of their best roles: an inventor going thru the development process to get the invention ready. I agree about the Ep mindset. Dr G sees the NeTx has having strong Te whereas I agree with Dario that the Creative function is potentially a very strong function.
In terms of asking him, remind me to get back to you on that.
I'm considering doing a hangout where it is explained how each type is process or result.

yeah you're right, I had to go back and fix that ha!
Answer: "SLI: Marvin Heemeyer (the Killdozer) and I know Dr G agrees with that. Meg Ryan is another SHS typed SLI. Then I believe Kim Basinger and Ryan Tedder of One republic might be too. Likely James McAvoy and Peter Sarsgaard" - Not from Dr G but from someone who knows a lot about socionics who is close to Dr G.

emot-killdozer.gif thanks Ben!!
Easiest way for me:
Process people are perspective (sane or insane) people.
Result people are idea (good or bad) people.
It is very clear that Ben is not perspective > idea.

Hey Ben, have any of Dr. G's books been translated into English and are any for sale or otherwise accessible?
I get a feeling he's got like this incredible knowledge base squirreled away in tomes somewhere, but with socionics everything is locked behind a language barrier. I'm tempted to just try and learn Russian but I feel like thats too ambitious
LSI: “I still can’t figure out Pinterest.”
Me: “It’s just, like, idea boards.”
LSI: “I don’t have ideas.”
I think that might implicate copyright issues, especially if I went on to share some of the completed work
i looked it up and getting paid for a translation requires permission of author and publisher of original work. I mean, you can do it without, but technically you're breaking the law. the US has a treaty with Russian Federation that means it applies here to Russian works. really what I wish all these socionics journals and books had were digital copies online so we could run em through google translate. even though this is inaccurate its better than nothing at all, but the owners of these copyrights probably would rather gamble on them one day being valuable enough to make them money rather than give them away for free and in so doing ensure they wont be worth much

Will these videos be done for every type?
Check out causal deterministic cognition. Things are inifinitely scalable. Proportions matter not size. Alice in Wonderland for example. Streching concepts. It does not tolerate cracks very well as those things break smooth beautiful continuum (LII's crack things or fractalize).
Tranfers existing abilities easily into non experienced contexts (again one could use Alice in Wonderland) without much effort.

Maximum energy can probably do all sorts of roundabout thinking for example. Many theoretical theorist that make all kind of leaps probably have maximum energy in thinking. A big difference between suggestive and mobilizing. Additional thought is also that in this example with the ILE they have two negative spin function in the lowest energy state, so they actually overall focus less on negative aspect of information.

I tried to be more systematic in this presentation. However, I did mess up a little in reciting the In Charge types. However I got there in the end.

thank you for doing these ben
I like this series. I have a few questions that come to me during watching these.
Is there a looping relation between the function in each of these new blocks? Social mission, adaptation etc.
For example Fe which lives in the Ne water you said, Si in the Fi water aswell?
Can it be almost as if there is only 4 simplistic functions now of the EIE with these blocks that create new dynamics with the old 8 functions. The social mission of EIE is a finding ways to create harmony...
I'm glad you and Bertrand like the renamed 'on a whiteboard' and/or 'in a coconutshell' series.
The way I see the Brake function is that it's part of the Inflation Block where info builds up or inflates. It's like an in box of stuff building up. I suppose stress in the case of FeNx coz it has great ambition and works very hard to get it. R Control is quite hard to explain in FeNx. Perhaps the FeNx thinks that relationships should automatically get managed by its Fe charisma rather than taking the time to make that subjective connection which necessarily requires projection. Possibly, the FeNx has this build up of info of how they see themselves vs the Fe image that they project. Perhaps this block could build up thus: stress (due to weak Si) and a feeling of not being authentic (due to Control Fi) ie not the energy to make their actions totally congruent with who they are. Perhaps the FeNx is stuck in Ni mode of focusing on who they want to be ie the end goal of their own personal development. I see a 3 theme in FeNx. In terms of Keirsey, the NFJs (Mentors) are the only directive feeling types. It's the the ego/Max Ni that is the context for that: seeing the target and directing themselves and others to it.

That is my present intention esp the better they do. Hope you are subscribed. I'm trying to get up to a 1000 subscribers so I can monetise my videos.
If you search box by channel for 'ESTJ', you will find a video on the Keirsey ESTJ that mentions quite a bit on the Creative Se. The format of the video is going thru the profile them comparing the fictional (but based on a real life person of Gerry/Garry Giardario (sp) who was a supervising police officer in Baltimore) of Al Giardello. That Keirsey ESTJ profile is colour-coded with Model G.
