I had this melody in my head today:
But I couldn't remember were I had heard it. I thought it was Mahler and started searching on youtube. I finally found it as the slow movement from Mahlers 6:th symphony.
It's beautiful. Here it is. Hope it will lit up the November darkness for you too.
The decisive thing is not the reality of the object, but the reality of the subjective factor, i.e. the primordial images, which in their totality represent a psychic mirror-world. It is a mirror, however, with the peculiar capacity of representing the present contents of consciousness not in their known and customary form but in a certain sense sub specie aeternitatis, somewhat as a million-year old consciousness might see them.

Today I went to a concert where a man dressed as a woman sang nostalgic songs. Some kind of drag show. It was pretty terrible, and he/she also sang "Something" by the Beatles. Awful version, lacking in sensitivity.
Now here is the original. Best love song ever written.
