Today is a sad day, Rest in Peace Jeff Beck.
Jeff Beck died today. I remember him for this performance with Brian Wilson where he played guitar on “Surfs Up”. Literally so beautiful I cry every time I hear it idk why it’s just an automatic response at this point.

I've never seen that anime, but it's named after this song which is adapted from a German poem. Hugo Wolf is one of the best German composers of classical songs, but this isn't my favorite of his even if it's good. I don't think I really have a favorite, but if I had to pick, it would be "Kennst du das Land."
They're both beautiful pieces. I guess I'm going to take a deep dive into German lit and classical music
