The decisive thing is not the reality of the object, but the reality of the subjective factor, i.e. the primordial images, which in their totality represent a psychic mirror-world. It is a mirror, however, with the peculiar capacity of representing the present contents of consciousness not in their known and customary form but in a certain sense sub specie aeternitatis, somewhat as a million-year old consciousness might see them.

Nostalgic. Sometimes I forget how in-your-face sexy Kumi Koda's music videos are, though—compared to other J-pop videos. Haha
I've been listening to a lot of Terri Clark's songs lately. She became my favorite country woman singer and I wasn't expecting it since her compatriot Shania Twain was my favorite one. I must have a thing for Canadian women singers !
Everywhere in art you find themes of dreams and optimism. It's the themes of IEI. Not every type is an artist.
Yes, and that's why 90% of art is garbage, because it's escapist dreck that doesn't reflect reality in any way. If 90% of art is garbage because it's made by IEIs, that's nice to know. If you want to listen to black music, get some avant-garde jazz on or at least some rap with some edge.
This is some of the most influential soul music, if anyone needs better black music than whatever Alive's posting to listen to. This is real art and not kitsch. Of course, due to how intentionality interacts with human cognition, kitsch tends to be called real art since people look for the stereotypically arty-est art, and things that are brilliant art often don't get called art at all because people are too busy thinking about what it's saying to particularly think of it as being art.
Fighting insomnia with Dr. Phil Davis... these smooth tunes take me to another place..

Beautiful interpretation of that traditional Irish song. I also love the Caroline Lavelle version that I used to listen to a lot back in the days.
I find what this guy does interesting (very inspired by Stanley Jordan !) but his songs are very short for some reasons.

I actually have only one Album (Live) of Morbid Angel in my CD collection but this song (my favorite) is not in it.
