Default Misconceptions of introversion and extroversion

Social extroversion and introversion is different from extroversion and introversion in socionics terms which is why you can be a shy extrotim and it's sorta frustrating to see people say that extrotims can't be shy and socially awkward. Extroversion in socionics is being focused on the properties of objects so they seek objectiveness while introversion focuses on the person's own perception of objects seeking subjectivity. An extrotim can then be socially inept because they might not focus on people and develop the necessary skills to be likable ( which can be a challenge for anyone regardless of extroversion or introversion) but might focus on other parts of the outer world like information and being practicality( Te) or potential and possibilities(Ne) or the physical properties of things and what to do(Se)and stuff( Fe) and an introtim can be outgoing while still focusing on their own perceptions and values etc. So let's at least try to avoid the stereotypes.

Exactly. In socionics, there can be introverted extrotims, and extroverted introtims.
