Ok so first of all, let me get this out of the way: I WAS RIGHT
I know I can be very insisting to the point it might come across as annoying or overbearing but really, it's only because of my conviction. And here it pays off once again.
Now onto the analysis:
My reaction at opening the "Magnificant ones" was: is she really that clueless???? Because there's literally no need to see anything else. You look lovely in most of these outfits. The spot on ones are: coral pink shirt ( I knew it! gives you a natural blush), the watermelon something (makes your skin and the white of your eyes look bright) , the light turquoise blue sweater (your features look defined and 3D) and the leopard one (this print looks dynamic on you and the color is great). But the others (green and coral) are correct too, just not the best. Wanna know what palette they belong to?:
Apart from the brick top that looks ok, the other two tops are killing your complexion with their darkness and contrast. These are Dark, and that's your palette opposite.
Mostly Soft Summer with a couple Autumn. NOt bad, but you can do MUCH better. Harmless, if unexciting.
Bright Winter purple and red are not awful on you because it's a Spring blend. Too strong, but still sunny and colorful enough to not make you look dead. Bright Spring is too contrasting and it's making you too pale on the bright orange pic, and yellow/slightly feverish in the pumpkin one. Still, it looks close enough to decimate any doubt that Spring is your general season.
Soft Autumn is much better than Summer for you, though I don't personally subscribe to the whole "second best paletet" thing, I say that this is definitely what this one for you.(^I later realized that this is basically a winter palette)
Yes, it's True Winter for the red & purple, and either True or Soft Summer for the others, it's hard to tell. Indeed really off, not gonna lie.
Tell me your favorites if you want
No, it's really not good at all. It totally overpowers you (look how it matches the black, that's the hint), you look too pale and small. It's saturated but doesn't even look that warm on my screen. Here is where personal taste comes in, but objectively, it makes you disappear.
And the verdict is....LIGHT SPRING!!!!
Congrats, you get this beautiful palette:
So juicy and delicate:
@maniac
That light azalea pink is on her palette, but on the cooler end of it. Chae leans warm, so it's not her best pink, she'll do better sticking to coral ones.
Then you have no other choice than becoming worldwide handsome gorgeous & famous so we can see you Realistically speaking: there are downsides worse than that, ma guuuurrrl, you'll be fine even if I'm really sentimental about it. I can imagine you with your cute Gamine description, that's enough
@Playing With Fire
Ayyyyyy I'm very happy about it actually It's good that you insisted and had the correct thought super early. I hereby proclaim you as QOBR, Queen Of Being Right, if you are willing to accept the title. And it was good that I insisted on warm undertone, you feel me. Good teamwork in being stubborn, mic drop to that. Thanks for making sense of this and taking the time, means a lot. Agh mother of god, that's why my "compliment shirt" didn't seem autumn to me at all, good gracious. But thanks to my naïve analysis I can now call it the blush shirt because you named it I already treasure my leopard top, I wear it almost every week. Oh my goddess... you predicted the coral romance of Chae I have a lot of palettes to save and study now. What celeb color twins do I have, where to copycat some jazzy combinations?
Mint - got the hint. Is there any color that you think would be my ultimate secret weapon? I'm guessing it's really one from the warm pink spectrum.
Looks like I'll have to donate some of my dark tops to mom, she's a winter
Ok, the surprise drape is canceled. The tip with the "matches black" is a good one, have to watch out for it.
I do find it juicy. But. NOW I CAN WEAR BADASS CLEAR RED HOW AMAZING IS THAT. Party, party party, it's my #1 color fave
Now: time for research. Looking forward to you joining the "confirmed season" club very soon.
@Chae
QOBR, I can roll with that

I came back from my analysis session about three and a half hours ago. Lots to process, but the gist of it all is:
Will write about it later, stay tuned.
@Chae updated the LSp post with the celebrities seasonal twins, I had forgotten before. Also, check this new article, seems to be made for you:
How do I Combine Light Spring Colors with my Dramatic or Gamine Style ID?
From the color twin list, I adore Spring Scarlett.
Look at her...colors
A throwback to when she wasn't so...colorful:
And look at how the use of native colors can make an incorrect hair color work:
Matches the blush 100%. If you're that sweaty and still look good it's gotta be in your palette, Chae rule of thumb #2947.
(Black gives him the maturity he needs. Whoever dyed his hair light brown and blonde has to be fired )

After much research, I finally found the 16 season colour theory, in which I'm a toned spring... imagine clear spring with a touch of grey added to the palette I first found out about the traditional summer, winter, spring, fall colour types and was just glad I knew not to wear black close to my face anymore and why silver jewellery looked bad on me. I wish I had known all this sooner , Over the years that basic knowledge has evolved and I now know how to pick out the exact colours without trying the clothes on in the mirror... but I usually always hold the item up to my face in a store mirror just to make sure.
Here's the 16 season colour palettes, to visualise:

(Just kidding. This is ridiculous on a Dramatic )
And come on now you cute bun, you missed an A+ Taylor Swift blank space pun opportunity! Heresyyyyyyyyy
I'm pretty sure I'm a true autuum. Never thought about it, but as my fashion sense has matured, I've gravitated more and more towards "my" colors, even for the summer:
I use a fair deal of those cyans, light beige-greys, etc. for the summer and never particularly associated them with my skin tone. I also have one camisole exactly in that bright smoothie-green color. Interesting to think about. Good to see some inspiration for reds that actually look good on me. They're one in a million.

@Playing With Fire Hey Ladyyyy that was a tough story. You succeeded!! As with all seasons, this palette is bangin'.
Now we know why the vacation-themed photoshoot was dead on, I bet they put all of these popping colors on you. I swear it's becoming so clear that compliment colors really are the surefire indicator (like light coral & me, should have been a big DUH!), it's not even funny. Props to your analyst madam who sorted these things out so nicely. I get the feeling this was sooo worth it. How much bright winter is in your wardrobe?
PS: The gifs (that must have been some effort) had me hooked, I couldn't stop laughing when Joanne appeared to scam all doubts away If we had the same size I'd ship you all of my blacks and lime greens and royal blues I have so many of that And my bright reds, appears to be your strongest color choice. Ahh I imagine you slaying in those
PSII: Baekhyun!!!
PSIII: You know what Yoongi said, next up is the Billboard. In your case, that's your sociotype Go Queen
Now that its winter I wish I could pull off Shaded Summers colour palette, sometimes I want to wear something cool and sparkly. If I could change seasons in Winter ...
Shaded Summer/ Soft Summer deep

I find winter wonderland palette and smokey make-up a sexy look but also very sophisticated:
@Chae
Ahhh thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the gifs. I have so many it was fun chosing which ones fit the narrative.
You know I thought those outfits were BSp, but I checked with my BW fan and most are are actually the warm side of my palette! So yeah, compliments can sure point the way. I sent my mom some draping pics and she was so smug, because from the beginning she insisted I needed bright colors. Hate to admit it, but she was right on the money
I had about 3 tops and a jacket that matched the palette, the rest was DW. I've had virtually no time to shop since the draping, so for now I'm using black, bling bling acessories and the makeup she gave me at the end of the analysis. I already look more like myself than I ever did. Definitely worth every won
Oh but you look like a Greek collumn and I'm a pygmy, so no can do I actually have to find a way to get rid of my DW clothes, none of my friends are one. I guess I'll make a donation, they definitely could raise a good amount.
The reds were indeed my best section, which is funny since I was always tearing my hair out for not finding one that fit. Now I have at least five. The good thing about Pantone is that they come up with so many colors every year that the palette you are given is just a starting point.
It was so funny when you asked me for those diagnosis and I had to wait to include them on my post You defintely seem to have a thing for BW guys
What if I'm soft winter? I have this warm leopard patterned top that looks so ridiculous on me because it clashes with my skin. Thats a sign I'm cool toned (either winter or summer) right?
I took another picture with more colors. @Playing With Fire you seem good at this, what do you think?

@maniac
Soft Winter is not a category I see as existent. I don't subscribe to any 16 seasons system. I believe that it's true that many people lean soft/light/clear within their palettes, but the solution is narrowing down your choices.
The problem with 16 seasons is that the "new" palettes are created by mixing together colors from the original one with colors from neighbor seasons. The issue is that you cant change just one characteristic in a color, if you make it cooler you automatically make it darker for example. So it really doesn't do you any favors.
This pic is the same as all the others you've posted before: the colors make you look tired and "invisible". You have no Dark or Soft Autumn in you, and if pastel yellow is bad, then no Summer or Light Spring either.
Contenders:
True Spring
Bright Spring
True Autumn
Still possible but less likely:
True Winter
Bright Winter
Dark Winter does look awful in pastels and needs a lot more intensity than you wear, but I find it unlikely since they can manage Soft Summer well enough. The Soft Winter palette is Soft Summer + the softer Dark Winter colors.
All in all it's clear to me that you need more chroma.
Soft winters imo.

Katie Holmes could be Soft Summer?
Even though they are soft, as Winters they can hold more contrast in colour and look good in black and white.
Olivia Munn??? She could be Deep Winter...
This thing is too complicated for me lol
Katie Holmes is a Soft Summer, she can't wear black at all without looking old:
And the non celebrity lady in the collage is actually a True Autumn, here's her blog, she has her professional analysis up there:
http://renata-beautyandelegance.blogspot.com.br
Olivia Munn is a Bright Spring:
Colour analysts who use this 4x4 system explain it as each season has a pure palette and to create the other 3 you add grey (toned), add white (tint) or black (shade) or keep it pure. I can look ok (meaning not dreadful) in the other Springs, soft autumn, deep Autumn and Winter... but the best colours that really make my face pop are clear, toned and warm, that cant all exist together in the other systems.
I suspected Katie Holmes was Soft Summer.
As for the blogger... I don't know now, I could see that blogger as a dark Autumn which 'flows into winter', because she seems too contrasting to look good in all the muddy, earthy, Autumnal colours and the khakis I associate with True Autumn. Woudnt this Silver-grey she's wearing completely wash her out if she's true Autumn?
DSCN4846.JPG
The blogger has been professionally analyzed as I said previously:
http://renata-beautyandelegance.blog...my-colour.html
But she has no interest in following the palette:
http://renata-beautyandelegance.blog...-analysis.html
She has a new blog now, clearly her interest remains the same as ever: playing around with colors. She's most definitely IEE:
http://eleganceandbeautyblog.blogspot.com.br/
IMO it's pretty clear her analysis was correct:

LOL, sorry for the huge images, I replaced them for smaller versions. Why do I have to be extra even in this
Here she is in the winter palette:
She really does look good in that orange top you posted, if thats true Autumn.
She's being draped as a true Autumn here and to me she looks better in winter.
So I read the TA blogger new post and oh my, it's a great example of how compliments can also be your enemy (not to mention loads of her PoLR):
http://eleganceandbeautyblog.blogspo...l-colours.html
She thinks she's a True Winter now:
Look at this comment:
A voice of reason, and her ...interesting response:You look very classically cool and as always I am amazed at the depth of colour you pull off. I think finding makeup colours in the purely warm or purely cool range is difficult.
Is this a True Winter to you?
A True Warm who thinks she's True Cool...lesson: separate your (perhaps flip flopping) tastes from objective observation.
@Jadie13
It's very obvious she edited her picture in terms of both lightening and temperature, she looks like a ghost. Even then, looks artificial to me. No Winter of any kind (even Autumn influenced Dark) looks good in rust lipstick and pumpkin orange.
